Those are bearings in the knife. Robeson first used bearings on their Mastercraft series sometime after 1920. Emerson Case perfected them in 1948 while president of Robeson Cutlery Co. Like so many other things, bearings on traditional knives are traditional. I was wondering if you were going to mention those fishing poles.😅😊

Thanks for checking it out, during nice months i love keeping them very handy!! I've never owned a traditional blade with bearings and something i'm really not in to at all, I just wish they had been up front with the description on these.

too bad about that knife. im not a knife guy really you know that, so not sure what the washers do? or if they are bad? or just a way around doing something proper? not sure..Have a good night and hope you're getting some gym time every week still??
