In 1924 The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association was founded in the US. I believe the first field trials were based on Fishers Island N.Y.? Like UK there is Show & Field lines of the breed. You don't really see many of the breed here. You mostly see them in Texas, Georgia & the Dakotas. I asked my breeder about Emma's line.
