Pat. I had the privilege of being a contestant 7 years ago and it was the best experience. Even when the production stopped due to some audio bugs, you were joking and kidding with us. It was a great experience and my kids were so proud. Thank you for being a big part of my family for so long.

I am so glad that I had the amazing opportunity to be a contestant last year. It was a memory that my granddaughter will have for the rest of her life. We were on the grandparent/grandchild show. NBC back in the day was notorious for cancelling stuff left and right, wiping tapes, etc.... Pat saved the show. Our NBC was UHF and hard to receive.

I've always enjoyed the way Pat paid tribute to his longtime friends when they passed away. I can think of at least four. Jack Clark in 1988. Alan Mills in 2009 Charlie O'Donnell in 2010. Mark Corwin in 2013. I know losing friends is hard, even for Pat, but I'm proud of how he held it together. That takes real courage.

Thank you for being with us for so many years. I have watched you while living in Minnesota, Georgia and now in MN. I remember years ago when my father's step-daughter in California was on your show and was so excited when she won a Gucci purse (which didn't mean much to me but was exciting to know someone on the show. Just watched your videos which were very interesting and I agree how much you interacted with the contestants and made them feel comfortable and will definitely miss your witty sense of humor. My parents and I were fans of Wheel of Fortune for years. My Dad always liked Vanna's dresses! I've been a fan for years too. I remember watching when contestants choose prizes. I have really enjoyed wheel through the years. My kids loved watching the show and now my 40 year old son watches every night as an adult. Pat is so funny and I don't see how it can ever be the same without him. When my kids were young I took them to a taping of wheel when we lived in Seattle. It was fun! Huge crowd back then. Pat and Vanna have been my stalkers for over four decades. No matter how many times I've moved they have come into my home almost every night, usually during dinner, but they never stayed long and were always entertaining. We will miss them.

Vanna should be the new host and Maggie push the letters and do the puzzle board. ❤
