Hi Sherry I’ve learnt so much today about UV Resin just from watching you. May I suggest using your tweezers to pick up your chunky glitter when you use it? I watch all your videos & love how happy & cheerful you are, you are such a pleasure to watch. Love the necklaces & keychains you did Keep up the great work you do & thank you for always sharing ❤
Just had this same kit arrive this morning, and wanted some guidance. Thank you. I've got lots of ideas now, but as I've never tried resin ever, I may be too ambitious. Let's see. Must remember its ok if it goes wrong, im just having a go. Decided I shall use the mixing cup though. Thank you from the UK. ❤
My goodness, what a nice kit. I have never done anything with resin, and you make it seem so easy. I noticed they didn't give you gloves. Don't you need them with UV Resin? My daughter brought some of my totes from the shed, so I will play with that for awhile because they have lots of Sculpey and jewelry findings. But I will still watch you and a few other favorite channels.❤❤❤ Behave yourself ! 😄 Fantastic job on the necklaces and key chains.
If you lay down a thin layer of resin then carefully place flakes in...kit came with a little scoop, didn't it? Then spread where you want with tools. Do shallow layers, then use uv lamp and repeat process. Less glitter spread though it always spreads some :)
I noticed that sometimes the leaves were sticking to your finger when flipping it. Often with UV resin, you will need to cure the bottom side, which can be done while in the mold (if it is translucent), or after demolding.
If you put a piece of paper on the corner of your tape, it will give you something to hold onto that won't stick to you. Or if you put small pieces of tape on the edges of your larger tape, it won't move around on you. Makes it much easier to work with..
Thank you Sherry for showing us how to use this kit. I think Let's Resin is a good company. I have a few of their products and was highly satisfied with what I purchased.
I love that you film from your trailer! I spend months in my trailer, and it's not stationary like yours. I've had to shift so many storage areas to be able to take my resin with me. How do you narrow it down?!? my underbed storage is filled with molds, cup turners, crushed glass etc.
Nice kit ! Beautiful little necklaces, i did my first epoxy resin tonight. I love it but i may get this kit as it looks a bit easier love the keychains too Thank you for sharing ❤👍
I have the Lets resin tea light candles set of three that i purchased on Amazon. Im trying out an idea i saw, im puting fairy lights inside them along with dried flowers and glitter. Thanks for sharing this kit with us. I havent tried the uv resin yet though.
Hi Sherry. Another wonderful video with very pretty results! I know you watch other RU-vidrs and as you love "Bling", you might have a look in at some of the items on Beverly's Stunning Creations. Thanks for showing us this new kit....I'm very tempted!
It’s great you get so much free for your videos. They cost us a small fortune. Just thought you might want to hear from your audience. I watch every video. Can you tell us the retail price if we were interested in buying?
I tried to make bookmarks and dog tags. They came out nice the first time, but this evening, I tried to make more and I'm not sure what went wrong. I think I'm going to stick with Exposy
Well don't that just figure :( I live in Alberta Canada and CANNOT order the UV Kit .. not on the Canadian website ... ONLY on US site, but that site says that they cannot ship outside the US. I was all ready to get the kit. So sad !!! I don't understand why we in Canada cannot get the same items as the US. The kit is not the only thing I wanted to order, but the other items are not available to us either. Rant over LOL .... I love everything you did Sherry. I love watching your videos. Keep 'em coming
They're all very pretty! The first one though I definitely would have put like black fingernail polish for that holographic glitter to make it really pop. And it would have tied in better with the black vinyl necklace too. But again they're all very pretty p.s. I really wish you would have showed the individual jars of glitter which you did NOT.. DON'T WORRY it's okay if you don't always use Laura's products for Pete's sakes. And it'd be nice to see what came in the smal box of glitters/chameleon flakes. I'm talking about the jars that you kept a secret. I just showed us a quick shot of the tops. Take them out individually and show us the colors. All because I think you think you'll be disloyal to Laura 😅😅😅
If you are going to use tape in that way Put paper around the edges so you can Move it around without your fingers Get stuck on the sticky parts of the tape...
Would it have helped to brush the pendent with guiding glue 1st then lay the mica???. Also I have 200ml UV resin from allyexpress never opened, from a couple years ago, would it still work??? I also just received some lets resin 200g bottles with extras as well, hoping to do pratis free form pigment colored disc ,for a suncatcher ,that way I am not wasting the good stuff.also was the resin low oder as well???
Really nice kit. Thanks for the demonstration. Doesn't the instructions tell you how long a "hit" is? Mixing the fine glitter or the "chunky" glitter in the mold, scratch the mold? You must have been really tired, there were several sentences you left unfinished. I felt really bad for you. I was thinking, poor Sherry needs some rest. We would understand missing a video. 💕😊💕
