What day of the week? Whats the current driver count in phoenix? When I worked in ohoenix there were rarely if ever straight 15hours qorth of market. Mid day is dead. Youre starting too late in the day.
Stop blaming Uber and Lyft! Those companies are trash and everybody know that. If you don’t make money anymore, why don’t you find a real job? You can do construction, plumbing, bus / truck driver, cleaning, restaurants, oil change, hotels desk. There are plenty of places that hire without any education or experience. You just need to open yourselves to new ideas. Sure, everybody love how sweet it is to log in and off the apps whenever you want, work whenever you feel like. But those days are long gone my friend. Find a real job.
I have down contrucstion for 11years and i was a foreman... But uber paid me more than being a foreman way more but not no more. You should judge based on a persons job... Every job and position is a real job
@@Pay.Us.Drivers and when I said “real job” I mean a job that required to provide you certain amount of hours every week and hourly wage. AND, and that’s a BIG AND: you have no expenses. Uber and Lyft pay sucks and you have so many expenses.
Man, I definitely feel you on everything you're saying! I'm not homeless yet but I'm getting pretty close and I have so many late payments on my car that it's almost getting repossessed. I'm late af on rent because I don't even make enough to pay it. My car needs so many repairs that I don't know where to start. Some of my other mandatory bills have been reluctantly unpaid for a while and I'm really running off of whatever spare time that I have. I live in Atlanta and have heard alot about the Cali market and we're all in the same boat unfortunately. I do wish the best for you man and stay safe out there!
I’m sorry you’re going through that bro, I been right where you are, living out my car and driving Uber. Just keep looking for opportunities, Uber is squeezing the drivers for 50% and it’s criminal what they’re doing and getting away with. It will get better and I’m praying for you 💯🙏🏾
The feeling is mutual young man. FYI Uba's agenda is to put you in the exact situation you are in right now please try looking into something else don't let it get to you.
I dont think these rideshare programs were ever intended to be full time gigs, but they certainly turned out to be. A side hustle for a few hundred extra dollars to help along side your full time gig. However, the only way to fix this is for most all of the drivers to come together and quit for a bit. No drivers and the company suffers, company suffers and they will change.
No drivers are getting together it’s was a trap in the first place and it’s just getting worse, there is a psychological component here and these companies knew it from the beginning what they were doing , think about it , they did something similar to what the drug dealers do , give some drug for free to some kids in the hood or any people , get them hooked and once get are addicted we can jack up the prices and boommm that’s exactly what they did. We are like drug addicted or alcoholics , but until we don’t recognize we have a problem we won’t get out of this shit , is not easy because we depend and whatever money we get everyday and they know it
I'm sorry to hear that man this app based slavery it's not working for anyone everyone has to get aw2 job it's not worth sacrifice for this bullshit. Good luck and happy new year!!
As long as there are people like you willing to work for such small amounts, these companies will continue to pay like that. Why should they pay anyone $30 per hour if they have enough drivers willing to do it for $15? They are banking on your desperation. A lot of people do these jobs as a second or third job, it's not meant to be a career. I drive for Lyft part time, but I also have a full time career and just started my own business. I'm raking in 120k a year working 55-60 hours per week. Lyft is my lowest income source and is therefore my lowest priority. Literally just go learn a skill that will pay $25+ per hour. It can be done without any fancy schooling and in the span of a few months. The "golden era" of rideshare jobs is over. Their algorithms pay out the smallest amounts possible to keep just enough drivers on the road.
I’m glad I used a rental with Uber , I burned 50 thousand miles on it in 6 months I talked to a Uber driver and she said she used 5 thousand miles a month before I did it im like wtf no way and then when I did it I’m like damnnnn
Worked 7 hrs yesterday made 53.00 , they show a food delivery for 13.00 , I take the delivery when I finish I look and see they payed 3.53 cents. What happen to the 13.00 dollars.
If you're not doing Uber black, in California you're not making any money. There is no money in regular Uber or even XL. It's just way too expensive to live in California. You should move to Washington, Seattle they make way better money because the state passed a law that drivers make at least 1.50 permile and .60 cents per minute.
I think its good u have no home now u can online 247 to make 1.5k -2k. Im also struggling on rideshare i cant even make 1k week in norcal silicon valley .
Well bot really cause i always helped them when i was good and they be hypocrites... Plus im not down im just homeless not moneyless or should i say cryptoless😂
I have to subscribe because you showing what am going thru most times no matter how hard go 14,15, 16, 17,18, make 20. On a good one way ride if it's more than one ride can't make 20 on hour is not slow, Uber just not paying right 7 miles &7:00 dollars on it take 30 to 35 minutes i get 3 rides back to back and pick less than a mile and one hour am don't reach 20 dollars I want you to show your weekly page with rides hour's and pay so world can see, good job brother
You’re not on the clock because there is no clock you are self employed only accepting the rides you want. Once you accept a ride you start the contract. Always remember you are not an employee and do not have to accept any contract if you don’t want to. The only thing that will increase pay is when no one will accept any contracts. But with all the new illegals in town being given licenses there will be no shortage of contract acceptance.
living proof of how, working for these corporations, you will earn so much that you won’t even be able to pay your rent. There will only be enough for food and gasoline so that he doesn’t die of hunger and can serve these corporations. And when his car breaks down, he will not have savings to repair it. And the person will go to live in a tent ..
I feel you bro, I’m going trough something similar. But my question is… why did you get rid of the 2 other cars you had and kept the rental? I think it was a better idea to get rid of the rental because is more expensive and just keep one of your other 2 cars.. just saying. Other than that, keep your head up and let’s keep exposing piece of shi t Uber and Lyft.
I aint going to lie it feels good keeping all that rent money 😂🤣🙏🤑. Well whatever i can save since uber is not even paying enought for rent if i had rent
If there is no market you get no money. Youre not on the clock if youre not working. Youre ready for contracta but dont have any contracts youre not working. Do people even get this concept.
You will save aloy of money... One thing i realized is their is many of us out here sleep ing in car yet we dont have an official community of webpage where we can all tap in
Problem is everything went up and they r not charging customers enough to pay us out because they want to keep it as cheap as possible for them to keep requesting for rides, at our expense.
Don't get mad get even! Here's angle that works and sticks it to UBER and LYFT. On a 19 or 20 dollar ride or more. Rider is paying 50 or more. When u arrive ask rider what the cost is. Which will be 50 dollars or more. Tell them to cancel the ride and you will take them for 30 dollars cash. They save 20 or more dollars evev after the cancellation fee. Driver makes an extra 10 or more dollars. Both parties are happy. Make even more on rides offering driver 30 dollars plus. On those Rider is paying nearly 100 dollars. Rider will gladly pay 60 dollars cash instead of 100 dollars!
LOL. Yo me and you both ninja.. got banned from driving both platforms just this past month. Left my apartment in arizona and just drove back home to chitown right now.
You must have done something dumb to get banned from Lyft. I've had a few problematic riders In the past 2.5 years but have never been banned from Lyft I'm in the top %10 of earners. I think it's tough on everyone. I've been late on all my bills I have a tesla the ev bonus low maintenance and low charging costs im barley hanging in there your not alone and I have 1 kid and 1 more kid on the way so yes I understand %100
If ur still making like 1.2k - 1.5k isnt that the same ammount you use to make anyways ?? Why dont u rent with some homies ..apartments is for technology guyys
This is a blessing in disguise. While you do not have many possessions tying you down, leave California. Go to Phoenix or something, plenty more jobs and opportunities, and affordability. Fast Food places are paying $20 an hour and $500 a month rent can be found.
@@Pay.Us.Drivers it's maybe a 5 hour drive. Once you're there, get a mail box, preferably USPS, or even UPS, so you have an address for mailing for any documents related to jobs or government and move forward. Plenty of Uber and Lyft opportunities especially around Scottsdale , which is a wealthy part, where it's $25 to $30 an hour, which can hold you up until you get a full time job with benefits. I have a friend who does full time Uber there, quit his job for it too. Get a gym membership to be able to wash up and for hygiene until you can rent. Phoenix rental prices are dropping. You can get a storage unit for your stuff if needed, which is maybe $20 a month, with water fountains and restrooms. Just rest up well one day and be on your way in the morning, make sure you get any possessions or do any notices or paperwork that needs to be done in person in Cali before you leave.
What are you doing, homeboy. You lost your cars and home doing rideshare. Wake up, Quit uber and lyft not worth it. You are one car breakdown, from living in the streets.
I find more at the spectrum or Dana Point, San Clemente. you can also try Santa Ana/John Wayne airport. on the video the app says your off line. there is a November-Mid January slow down that happens in Orange County around January 20th business should pick up
Why do you sound like the brother from La Bamba? Your 1st mistake is working that many hours. How do you lose your house and two cars. Btw, for that amount of $ you brought in your tips suck!! Good luck, Bob Morales
Some drivers just dont get tips or ONLY get fed trips that send them into low wage areas where they cant afford to tip after the dang service fees! My 1st yr & a half I hovered around a 4.65 on lyft until I was able to buy/rent half decent vehicles.
I feel for you bro... But start a youtube channel and start exposing uber and lyft we need to fight back not just accept the bullshit... Remember we live in AMERICA. The people run it not corporations
Bro ima say sum that’s like a lil harsh but it’s the truth mane. If Uber ain’t gonna pay your bills my dude get a w2 and quit Uber my boy cause to get homeless and blame a company is crazy. Also I rather have a place than eat out but yk idk u personally bitchin and complaining the companies ain’t gonna hold your hand g
Bruh I swear that delivery sht not worth it nomo and for sure not good on a new car just think I stopped after my transmission went out still got it put a new one in just get a job because when your car fuc up better know how to fix it one job that payin good is amazon delivery driver it kinda hard but u can get 60h a week at 20 a hour
You gotta take every ride they give you, thats how you make money theses days on Uber and Lyft even the $5 and $3 rides they will eventually add up to $20 or more a hour while supposedly
the stupidest advice ever. what a clown. here , take my used napkins, it adds up. pathetic . you are part of the problem. the more drivers decline, the more the pay goes up
@Pay.Us.Drivers What app do you use to make a video screenshot of what you’re doing on the app, while you have a camera showing the road or anything else?
