Hello and welcome to a Family Thanksgiving 2023 at the cottage!
This year my family and I went to a cottage for thanksgiving that we rented in the Kawartha Lakes. This was a new cottage for us, and we love the tradition of renting a new cottage each year to celebrate our Thanksgiving. We love Thanksgiving in Canada because the leaves are gorgeous, vibrantly coloured, and ready to fall! Autumn in Canada is truly stunning so I am happy to take you along with my family and I as we celebrate Thanksgiving! This vlog is a little delayed, as our Thanksgiving weekend in Canada is the early week of October, but if you're American, you're likely still in the Thanksgiving spirit! This was filmed in the beginnings of October, and in my eyes, October is the most gorgeous month in Canada, especially here in cottage country Ontario! You might have seen past Thanksgiving vlogs, but what makes this one so special is my older sister Jennifer & Daniel brought their newborn baby Nicholas with us! I am a first time aunt, and my parents are first time grandparents, so it was lovely to bring him along, and have these vlogs to look back on one day. Even though my parents are not together, they still get along, so my dad is back again with us, and it's wonderful to be able to have these family memories to hold on to. I hope you enjoyed this more intimate family vlog with us at the cottage, even my little chihuahua Luna had a lovely time!
