Zack, I gotta say, I totally appreciate a guy who can keep a straight face through all that. And i also appreciate commenters who don't have the ability to sense humor. It makes the rest of us look sane.
I loved this XD The wack historical facts just really added a fantastic touch of good, clean, fun humor lmao This is exactly y I love ur channel! Well one of the reasons ^^
Very funny video and pretty decent recipe too! Thanks. BTW, I'm sorry for all of you who don't get that this is a farce on the history of thanksgiving. cheers!
ok, look, the fact content of this vid is pretty low, but the bit about putting berries in a crust and cooking it - that was plausible. I loved the ending. Roger Columbus invented ice cream (using vanilla beans he picked up in the Village) and by the 4th thanksgiving, they were enjoying a scoop of cold deliciousness along side their pie. thanks for the fun video.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR POSTING ZACK! I love the feeling of being one of the first 100 people to watch a video! but everyone that commented before me is faster and better at that... 5 *'s!!!!!!!!!!!
Blimey, Zack, you should be president with that charisma. But more to the point, nice video, as usual you manage to provide wisdom, even though it's not really intended with a recipie like this. Good show!
I forgot why I subscribed to you. It's because you are so damn funny! That dry acerbic wit just kills me. The blackberry tree??? Just little bits like that kill me.
Haha, you're such a good actor! While watching this I kept questioning whether or not you were being facetious. I got my answer near the end of the video! :D
Hey Zack,I was looking for some new pie recipes so thanks for posting this one. (By the way, Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving too, but we have ours in October and yes like you Americans it's become an excuse to eat!)
I really liked this video very interesting and informative. U remind me of a better looking Alton Brown on Good Eats from the Food Network. lol I was so into the story. I didnt even know Christopher Columbus had a brother. Please tell me what Geronmino did when he seen Chris's brother point a gun at him? LMFAOO @ the end. U sounded so sophisticated until U said "Fukin hot!!!!" That shit was tooo funny. Great video. I enjoyed it;-)
For a split second I though this was going to be a comedy of making BlackBerry pies, which would be hilarious. Wonder how much 4 cups of those cost... Pie looks good :D
actually it's a black berry bush, me i have one out at my other property i have attempted to try and make cobbler with black berries but....they never really made it to the house cause we would eat them, lol
hello zach scott , i'm getting my basement done and im finaly going to get my own room , thank god , its sooo hard sharing a bedroom with my twin , all wee doo is fight . it stresses my mom right out , i actually hate it , b ut ya know , i can't help it . i hate her , its sooo hard . but when i get my bedroom , it will be all okay :) and we'll stop fighting some thank god , well , thanks fer listening , and have fun making your pie. bye scott !
Actually blackberries grow on a brier. Sometimes, if you have a tame blackberry, the brier stalks will grow real thick and appear as a bush. But really they are just a lot of brier stalks close together. Now if he,which I know he didn't, I saw the packages, got the berries off a tree they are not blackberries, but mulberries. These berries are very sweet, where as the blackberry needs a lot of sugar. The blackberry cobbler is unbelievable. when it's hot, put on some land o lakes butter and cream
not to be contradictory kiralah, but some black berries do grow on trees. I have a black berry tree out back. I think I'll try this recipe with them for Thanksgiving Day with all my , erhem, "beloved" relatives. Yes, if all the little bird and squirrel carcasses at the base of the tree are any indication, my pie should be to die for.
