ooh i looked at that whipped topping today! haha my husband was like UH NO but i think i might go back and get it for having with fruit. it sounds amazing. mashed potatoes are my fave for any holiday.... or just any form of potato in general lol i love a mountain of mashed taters with corn and a tiiiiiny bit of gravy. with a dinner roll. i also loved cafeteria potatoes. there was a restaurant all of my besties worked at in high school that i always get mashed potatoes from.... everyone thinks they're gross and they are totally like potato flakes but they're SO GOOD. i even mix a tiny bit of ranch in them and it's amazing. i also don't think i typed potato enough.

I love the Follow Your Heart Veganaise! We do potlucks at work a lot and I usually make a vegan dish so there are options for the veggies and vegans who normally aren’t able to partake, and the most popular one is my southern potato salad that I make with the veganaise. I usually label the bowl so they know which one is vegan, but pretty much no one could tell it was. Slowly creating vegan converts 😈😂

Thank you so much for sharing your GF grocery finds that are yummy. My husband has Celiacs and the holidays can be difficult in terms of cooking things that are both edible and won’t have him turning inside out for days. Can you please share more of your GF favorites especially if you have any cookie or treat tips. Side note: I often use the Better then Bouillon base to make gravy and I know what you mean it’s the taste from browning meat and deglazing the pan after. Thank you again for sharing.

I LOVED this video! I know I'm a year late on finding these vids, but just in time for Thanksgiving this year... this helps me so much this season- I've been basically eating cereal for 3 or 4 years straight- not much for stores where I live, but the ones we do have are finally carrying gluten free & dairy free foods, so now I have to re-train my brain to be on the lookout for more foods to buy, yay! I am so thankful for this video! I have celiac disease, and I have had it for the past 10 years since I was 11 years old and I cannot tell you how much holiday food I have missed out on over the years! Even though I try to cook the "classic" recipes I can never get the texture or taste just right, or as close as possible. I loved the school cafeteria food but I'm a weirdo. My fave was the burrito in meat sauce. And yes I remember the mashed potatoes and the gravy was so good. I have considered a time or two acting like a student just to get a lunch.

Have you had the Follow Your Heart vegan cheese?? It's DELICIOUS!! The best vegan cheese I have ever eaten. I don't like the Daiya cheese either, but their cheesecakes, are so amazing! I buy two each time I go to Whole Foods. :) Happy Thanksgiving!

i LOVE the quorn roast! To get a more turkey type taste... the way i cook it is a recipe that used to be printed on the box and no longer is for some reason... even tho its the best way in my opinion. give it a try! Cooking with roasting bag - oven. 70 minutes. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small cup, mix 1 tbsp. of olive oil and 1 tsp. of dried herbs (rosemary, freshly ground pepper, thyme, sage, other). Remove roast from outer box and inner tray and soak Roast in bowl of warm water for 1-2 minutes. Carefully cut off the end clips and remove the plastic film around Roast; brush Roast with oil and herb mixture. Place Roast in roasting bag and tie bag. Make several slits in the bag to vent. Place on baking tray and place on middle shelf. Bake 35 minutes, turn roast over, then bake for additional 35 minutes until the roast is nicely browned. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving. To cook using a defrosted roast, follow the above instructions and reduce cooking time by 10 minutes.

Hey Girl Hey! Yes more gluten free/Vegan hauls. My daughter has PKU it is a metabolic disorder. She can only have 4 grams of protein a day. I’m looking for more ideas on what to cook for her and a lot of Gluten free things are low protein. Oh and I’m also gluten sensitive. I'm wanting to somehow work cooking/foodie kind of stuff into my channel moving forward and share some recipes on a blog/website situation which is my goal for 2019, so I'm always looking for some inspo/feedback/different food tolerances to cover. Pinterest has been the source of most of my ideas or at least get my creative juices flowing - I was looking up xmas cookies the other day and was drooling over the amount of goodness to choose from 🙌🏻 Also, I've been eyeballing the Grove Collaborative situation cuz I loooove Mrs Meyers and Method products and somehow I always forget to pick them up when I'm at the store! hmmm I may just have to go for it!

She's still mostly vegan. But it's hard being vegan and GLUTEN FREE out and about (restaurants and out of town). Eating vegan is more of a preference where as being gluten-free is a necessity. When she's home and can make things herself, she's vegan and GF.

Karissa Angus mostly vegan is still really good. I really like how there are a lot of RU-vidrs talking about how they’re vegan, but aren’t food channels. It helps show what many people buy vs some of the extrem people that get most of the attention online.
