OMG... My sister and brother are going to flip out when I tell them I finally found my mother's recipe for this delicious dessert. My mother made it often. She departed this life 18 years ago. We were so upset with ourselves that we never learned from her how to make this, as you call it, peach cobbler dump cake. I can't wait to make it tomorrow. A million thanks to you for posting this. Clogged arteries all that butter,why not mix the cake mix pour over the fruit and use one stick of butter instead of the oil in your cake mix seems like y'all try to make cooking so complicated,I could have put this together in 15 min.- the cooking time

I use white. It don’t matter what brand.The dollar tree peaches is sooo good !! I put three cans . I love peaches. I also sprinkle pecans and brown sugar at the end on top of everything! So it can have nice crunchy thing with it. I tried Apple and it just didn’t do it for me like peaches 🤷🏽‍♀️

@@traciesplace all dump cakes are supposed to have chopped pecans mixed into the cake mix. That is one of the prime ingredients of a dump cake. :-)

I just got finish making this peach dump cake and it was Awesome! I have done apple ,cherry cheese cake & strawberry cheese cake! Awesome! Sprinkle a little bit of brown sugar and cinnamon sugar on top!

I've made it with the fruit cocktail mix. It's done basically the same. But we add walnuts or pecans, and it's put at the bottom. You really need to try it, it's delicious!

I'm eating this RIGHT NOW and this is so good. I'm picky when it comes to peach cobbler and I just heard of dump cakes. I had all of the ingredients except the nutmeg and butter golden cake mix. Got them from the store and made this and I am so happy with the outcome. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I'll be taking some of this to my mama 😂 she's going to love it ❤

Hi, Tracie. I just made a pineapple dump cake with WinCo brand peach oatmeal. I want to say I used Betty Crocker. It went over big. It was a Church potluck and wouldn't you know we had a new man come whose name was Mark Pena. Well I didn't know Pena meant Pineapple? Thank You, Tracie. Love ya personality! Hi from Canada, Duncan Hines girl. I use Betty Crocker spice cake. And thicken the sauce with t tbls. Corn starch, and I like the amount of butter you put on top, butter make it better, you know what I'm doing next time😊

Try strawberry pie filling and cream cheese with white cake mix ! I Also put crunched up pretzels on top of the butter . Adds crunch and just a bit of salt !!
