I am so sorry for your loss. I can relate. I lost my mom in February and this Thanksgiving was really hard. Loss and grief is a wonderful thing, but I believe in all of the little things that show me that they are with you - feathers, pennies, songs on the radio. Be sure to take care of you during this rough holiday season!

They’re always going to be with us, no matter what💕 the first year is especially rough. My grandmother passed away last Thanksgiving and so last week marked a year since her passing. But I still felt like she was with us, and I know your dad is watching over you too. Sending so much love to you & your family, happy holidays 💕

I thought about you on Thanksgiving because I remembered it is the first Thanksgiving without your dad and I felt for you. I teared up, it's not fair. I always think about that because my step dad passed away May 2018 right before I graduated HS and I always thought to myself this isn't fair that such a good human left this earth too soon. Same with your dad, it's not fair and life is so strange like that. Grief is such a rollercoaster of emotions and I just hope you give yourself grace because you are so unbelievably strong and it takes a lot to experience those emotions and work thru it everyday. This comment was all over the place but I love you soo much

I lost my grandmother a few days before Thanksgiving and my step-grandmother (who was more like my grandmother) on Christmas Day last year. I know its not the same as losing a parent, but it definitely does change the holidays. I hope your holidays are so sweet and special even if they are bittersweet this year. I'm so in awe of your positivity and you've inspired me to not focus on the fact that my loved ones aren't here for this holiday season, but on the fact that I have these special holiday memories with them during this time.
