Unrelated, but I hate how it can be years after they finished HS, and yet Nate is still dating petty HS girls. This man’s fetish was Constance Queen B’s.

I'm still sad there was no Georgina Sparks spin off. She was the most entertaining character and Michelle was incredible playing her

I feel like the problem with Dan and why people hate him (and Jenny) so much is that they don’t just act like the Upper East Siders. They act like them and then still think they’re better than them in some way because they’re “self aware” and the things they do “are no different than the horrible things they do to each other.” The difference is that the main friend group is always able to forgive each other and come together when it’s necessary. Dan is good at being there for people, but he’s not good at forgiveness. Even when he acts like he’s gotten over something, he still holds onto it and writes about it and exposes people. Yes they’re all guilty (except Nate) for exposing secrets to Gossip Girl for the world to know, but all they do is spill secrets, they aren’t the ones telling the world exactly how they feel about how horrible a certain person is. They say it to their face and then forgive each other. Something Dan doesn’t do. He hides behind a screen and forgives but doesn’t forget.

Dan always despised Serena.
