The First movie portray his use of the stones too much. He was already known and feared as the strongest and most terrifying being out in the universe, world destroyer level strength and one of the smartest with a very high battle ot should i say War IQ.

When Thanos face the Big Three, he won that fight fair a Square. But losses to a Whole army of Avengers, Wakanda, Guardians of the galaxy, Sorcerer Supremes and, The Asgardians. Still, Thanos was the big dog, and the big threats to all of them.

This pisses me off the most. It's so obvious, and still a lot of people being like "Thanos is worthy to lift Stormbreaker? O_O". Are they blind? No one has ever told one should be worthy to hold Stormbreaker.

Thanos Is Still Stronger Tho, Thor Throught His Life Has Always Struggled With Hulk, And Thanos Was Able To Take Hulk Down In 30 Seconds Without Using Any Stones, But Yeah Thor Is More Powerful With The Stormbreaker

@@Mohammed-gc1xt Thanos had the power stone when he took down the Hulk. Every time someone puts a stone on the gauntlet or holds a stone, the power of the stone overwhelms the person with the power from the stone. The gauntlet simply let the person control the power. Every time he put a stone in he got stronger. The stone glowing simply means that he was using the stone's specific power in a unique way. So Thanos was far stronger than he usually would be because of the power stone when he faced the Hulk which was why he was able to defeat the Hulk so easily, but also because the Hulk is more of a brawler, not a fighter.

Factually and verifiably false. In the comics, the Infinity Gems DO give a passive power boost, but in the MCU, the Russo Brothers (the directors) got asked this exact question in a big interview ("did the Power Stone help Thanos beat Hulk?") They answered very definitively that the stones in the MCU don't give any power boost except when they are being actively used, and that they specifically used a Glow special effect to show when Thanos was and wasn't using power from the Stones. And they said the main reason they made this effect, was for the scene versus Hulk, because they wanted to emphasize to the audience that Thanos is indeed immeasurably more powerful than Hulk. Thanos and Hulk face multiple times in the comics btw, and Thanos only has the gems during one of the fights. He absolutely curb stomps Hulk EVERY time. He knocked Hulk out in less than 5 seconds in two fights, and in another, he beat up Savage Hulk SO badly, that he made Hulk his PET DOG, with a collar and leash on Hulk as Hulk kneeled at Thanos' feet. There is not one instance where Hulk even remotely comes close to going two to two with Thanos in the lore, so this scene is quite accurate, despite the fact MCU Thanos was nerfed many times more severely than MCU Hulk was. Oh and btw, Thanos also fought Thor while Thor had the Power Gem and Thanos had NO gems in the comics, and Thor STILL couldn't beat him despite having and using the Power Gem, of all gems. Thanos is THE top guy in Marvel. The interesting thing about him that makes him number one is that he has some passive powers via the writers, one being that he scales in power up to anyone he faces, so if he faces the highest gods, like Tribunal, his power scales. Also, he and Adam Warlock exist as special beings who exist in every time line, and have massive effects on the Multiverse. And last, Thanos is invincible, both due to his near invulnerable body, plus his super-natural immunity to dying (thanks to Death herself). Stop comparing Thor or Hulk to Thanos as if it's a comparison. It's not.

Thanos is the most nerfed character in the entire MCU, what are you smoking? In the comics, Thor fights Thanos while Thor has the POWER Stone, and Thanos has no stones/ gems, yet Thor still couldn't beat him. If King Thor with the Power Gem cannot beat Thanos at Thanos' base level, then guess what? That means Thanos is immeasurably more powerful than Thor. He's the toughest Marvel character. He literally scales UP in power when he faces celestial and abstract beings, like Galactus. He tanked Odin's entire power without breaking a sweat. He killed every single god, celestial, abstract, Galactus, Holy Tribunal, Eternity, Infinity, Entropy, and Above All Others (avatar of The One Above All) and took on the powers of EVERY one of them as he did so, becoming the most powerful Omniversal being in the history of comics. (Yes, Omniversal includes DC verse and all other universes). Look up Astral Regulator Thanos. He's the most powerful comic character of all time, and that's just one of his timelines.

@@syed7110 Thanos beat flames out of Thor every time they fought in the movies. He badly beat him on the Asgardian refugee ship (BADLY), and he tossed Thor around as if Thor was a CHILD in Endgame despite Thor being Amped by TWO external power sources (his hammer and axe. Both enhance his powers greatly). At the end of Infinity War, Thor throws Stormbreaker, and it ignores the Infinity Energy, thus striking Thanos' chest. It was designed to do that. That had nothing to do with Thor's power, and everything to do with Stormbreaker's "power", plus the fact Thanos didn't know it was a weapon of that caliber. So that wasn't Thor overpowering Thanos; it was Thanos not knowing about Stormbreaker yet. If he HAD known, all he had to do was step to the side, and then it'd be over for Thor, again. That's it. If you think any of those three scenes make Thor look stronger, you're being a fanboy. Also, you 100% were trying to say the comics are different, because you said "They had to nerf Thor to...." That directly implies he's stronger than Thanos in the lore, which is as far from accurate as you could be. Thanos was the most nerfed character in all the MCU, because if he was his same strength and magic as he has in comics, he's unbeatable, and Hollywood doesn't want that. Do you actually got the entire argument backwards.

And at the start of infinity war, did you really see any scene where Thanos beat thor like he did to hulk, I am pretty sure his allies would have helped him. Ok I accept that thor isn't stronger than Thanos, but he isn't that weak either. You are the one who fan boying thanos, if he is that much stronger, then why did he seek help from ronan, Loki and his daughters to get those stones instead of getting them all by himself, because he is waiting for that gauntlet to get ready.
