Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki says goons have hijacked ongoing Gen Z protests 

Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki has expressed concerns over destructive rioters who are exploiting legitimate protests initiated by the youth against the government. Governor Njuki noted that several opportunists have resorted to theft and vandalism during protests. The governor also warned against local politicians attempting to use the demonstrations to settle political scores, urging the government to closely monitor those diverting the demonstrations from their original purpose.
