Not me! I have a 25 yr old son I raised as a single mother. He moved out and moved back in after a few months. Now he's got a family of his own and they live with me. He's not willing to cut the imaginary umbilical cord...I'm okay with it now because I have an 18 mos old grandson whom I adore the mos, see all day, everyday. I don't ask him for anything but to save his money. I think he sometimes gets jealous I buy my grandson something all the time nothing for him now not even socks or underwear 😂

Old people I know are extremely wise who have seen life and know what to do and say at right time. Their kids and coming generation look upto them for life advices. They are definitely not kid's. The thing about attention and love they can seek that from their spouse.
I am a girl but this guy is such a big red flag for me he ignored his mother the whole time ,he casually walked past his mother to his girlfriend without saying hello how are you mother and then indirectly telling her to leave it's fine to act all lovey dovey with your lover if it's just the two of you but you have another person as well waiting for your love and attention as she has painfully given birth to you fed you changed your stinky diapers loved you raised you all coming back to her to be ignored by you that's such a slap to her face if you just wanted to spend time with your girlfriend than you could have set a date where it's just the two and you can love her to your heart's content but ignoring your mother and telling her to leave in front of you will show your girlfriend how you treat your mom and she might treat your mom the same.

You’ve experienced how mother-in-laws treated you, let’s break the chain and be happy with your son. After all she (the girl) would live with him for the rest of their life and in the end you will leave your son in this earth. Would you be comfortable when your son would be left alone because of your super-closeness with your son? No women would stay with their husband if the husband’s world revolve around the mother. I say love them both but give duly respect to your mother but don’t prioritize your mother over your wife/significant other as your parents will leave this earth and you will be left nothing if you prioritize them that much. Love them unconditionally but you need to establish a clear line (border line) between your love and your parents.

My son be like 😂😂😂😂. I remember in first year i made a real drama. I was crying every day , i told him that he forgot who is his family, i forbidden him to come home than begging him to come home . One day he said "mom you are the most selfish mother i ever saw" so i give up 😅😅. Its because im living for my kids , my reason to be alive is because of my kids ,i font habe any other reason so when he meet his girlfriend I felt like she is taking my reason to live , like she was taking my air. But than i got used , 3 years later ,im still crying sometimes but if he is happy thatd all ✌️. I still have 3 other kids 😅😅😅😅😅
If you look at the marriage as you are getting a new family member and maybe some grand kids win win plus if you support your child in their relationship they will love you more and you will be part of it not like an outsider God bless
