so I think the royal family is just a little different than Hollywood royalty. I believe that the royal family does not like when you speak too much. and that is for obvious reasons if you think about it talking too much leads to issues rumors too much information etc. so I believe that Meghan markle's mother may have stepped in to remind her of this. the transition from Hollywood royalty to actual monarch royalty is not for the faint of heart. if you're not born into it, it will take a great deal of self-discipline and work. and I can't imagine how exhausting it must have been for Megan to Marianne to a royal family. so I wish people would give her a break. quit being so critical and everything that she does.

If parents are invited to an event by their children in the first place, they can have their voice heard as well regardless of their social status. Most of people take turns to express their views and personal opinions, I am sure, in general, most of children wouldn't mind if their parents have something to say during any of conversations.
@Vanessa Tsai: Precisely. That is how conversation works. Harry and MM's mum aren't there as silent support for just MM to be responding and purely the centre of attention. Harry needs to speak up and stop letting his actress of a wife turn everything into a performance, an acting opportunity. She wouldn't have had that option to direct public events to her sole favour here in the UK, so they had to move away to America. The attention here would and will rightly be on our King, Queen Consort, and Wills and Kate. The upper Royals will always have centre stage, in the Royal hierarchy. That won't ever be undermined or written out for a low level actress. Poor Harry, who seems to need and has become totally reliant upon her control and mental, emotional 'support' of him.
Her mother did big time in the Pen and was absent from her life . I wonder did Meghan ever visit her in jail . That’s the kind of transparency I’d like to hear from her on her podcasts . There might be some interesting stories .
I have three daughters that would swing their heads and get silent just like that whenever I speak. They're in their thirties! It is clear she respects her mother and becomes very attentive whenever she hears her mother speak.❤

Doria is just as bad as Meghan. There's the whole issue of what really happened to Doria's father and then Doria tried to take Meghan so that she didn't have to deal with Thomas and she tried to get him in trouble with taxes but they figured out very quickly that it was Dorias business and she was the one messing with the money. Meghan gets it honestly
Seeing Doria speak on camera in their docuseries they really do have a lot of the exact same facial expressions and sound similar. I was surprised how alike they are! And they really look alike, especially when talking. I feel like they cut out a lot of what Doria said, because when she sat down she said she had some thoughts about things she wanted to talk about. Honestly I’m much more interested in her view of things from her position as Meghan’s mom than Meghan or Harry talking. And I just want a good close up shot of each kid’s face. I 100% think they are their bio kids, and I understand their consent reasoning, but I love little kids and they’re so cute!
Doria looks nervous to speak and cut MM off. I haven't seen these other vids of MM cutting H off, so I don't know. But Doria looks like she HAS to cut in otherwise she won't get a chance!

She likely had a raging fight with her after this and screamed at her for interrupting her and not supporting her when they were alone. Then she told her she thinks she should go and she doesn't feel supported. Basically, withdrew both her love (and money) to get her mother back in line. I don't think I've seen Doria interrupt her or talk since at other events she's invited her mother to attend.

As horrid as Meghan seems beneath her veneer of artifice, Doria actually seems quite the opposite...genuinely serene and gentle-natured. My Mother, God rest her Soul was that way and unfortunately had a malignant narcissist child-my eldest sister. Sometimes, decent people have terrible children.

I still can’t forget how scared H acted when he was riding a bus around LA with James Cordin and James called Meghan on FaceTime. When she was on James’s phone, H took 3 steps back, crossed his arms (protective gesture) and bit his lip. He clammed up and didn’t say a word. I think he’s really afraid of her! Would love to know why!!!
