For those looking for tips, here are some: (Foreword: a lot of these tips stem from experience and muscle memory, so don't expect to get these in a few days or even weeks) - Avoid left hand peaks, engage with right hand peaks If you look at how he positions himself when engaging he always tried to fight leaning on his right side, that's cuz ur less exposed when firing than on your left - Learn tempo and keep pressure In gunplay, it's important to read enemy positioning and vulnerabilities. For instance, in 2:30 he makes a lot of noise killing bots and wait to hear for movement and see one, enemy repositions so he chases with nade towards escape path, 2:45 he starts by bombarding enemy with nades, 2:54 he slowly pushes up (making use of the pressure) but he's wary bcz although he only hears and sees one person there are probably more, so pushing rn will leave him exposed in the open to a possible counter attack from enemy teammates, nades in corner before pushing to check, seems like they retreated, now takes better position on there other side, less exposed and sets up more isolated 1v1 duels, 3:18 hears one to the right but doesn't assume he's the only one so he fake pushes to juke out enemy fire, catches enemy out on reposition and now fast peaks the previous enemy, take note that this how you should do counterattacks in gunplay: he baits a burst of fire and immediately prefires on the last position he got fired from (enemies have a tendency to still hold an angle after they fire bcz they think if they duck back in cover, they lose the upperhand of vision). Again on 4:13 he pre-fires the last position the enemy was seen, 4:57 does the same pre-fire Strat but gets injured, fakes a retreat and counterattack knowing enemies will think he is injured and chase. 6:10 nades room to clear it, stuns the other side to prevent enemies from peaking him while he rotates. Here 7:11 he counts 3 dead/ injured so he knows there must be one more. > Remember all of this is done spontaneously, sometimes even prioritising pressure over healing injured limbs. If anyone wants to try practicing this style, they have to be aggressive with intention, every action and reposition has to be with an intention according to the plan in mind. Later if you die, you can vod review and see which part in your decision making is flawed. To be honest its just excellent game sense developed from countless smart fights, you can't be fussing on preserving ammo when ur playing aggressive like this. He know he has the one of the best ammo in game, meaning it WILL 2-3 shot some of the top armour, so he plays like that and bets on trades bcz he will most likely win them. Another aspect is the aim, 4:56 you can see his aim is not perfect- but one thing that makes his's special is that he is calm and collected when fighting, something that can be developed overtime to prevent flukes and panic firing. Hope this helps anyone interested (its just my analysis for the newer players)
this is exactly what i was looking for, now its just a matter of learning all of the angles on every map (i'm cooked. im estimating about 10 mil lost until i learn valley and armory)
