@@Sleeperknot it isnt the norm tho. A few off the streets helps just that. A few. Which is great. But if we could murder sex offenders of any kind i think the world would be a better place
@@dougweaver4955 The dude who did it lives litteraly 2 hours from me. He actually went 6 hours found her rescued her and killed the "Romeo pimp" (a person who gets others into relationships only to sell them into the sex trade) who did it. He's being held on a million dollar bond... So you're wrong because it does happen.
Denzel always brings it, never disappoints in whatever role he plays. One of the greatest actors of our generation. And leads a quiet personal life, never hear any dirt on the man. I have nothing but respect for the utmost quality he brings to his craft, a true professional.
@@boobo no he's not lol. He's a good conservative man who speaks truth more than most. Bet you can't give even a single example of him doing or saying something racist. Just examples of things you have erroneously and foolishly classified as racist
This guy should win an Oscar for every role he plays! Lol. Washington can do characters who are every bit as badass as John Wick like in this movie, or a far more complex character like in Fences. The man is a national treasure.
@@fr0stb1ght34 Well those scripted fights are always a bit stupid. They could for example have attacked him all together with all kind of stuff you can find in an appartment.
The "come here" when he moves towards the bigger set guy, after taking 3 people out very easily. The relative calm and smoothness of how the actor acts here is genius.
@Not Convinced so when it's Keanu Reeves doing this shit murking professionals out with a pencil it's credible but when it's Denzel beating the shit outta a bunch of overgrown frat bros it "black guy fantasy"
@ASRDGEEK Especially when they attack him one by one and not trying to hurt him by throwing something at him or hit him with a chair or a broken bottle.
It makes me think of, in Rambo, when Rambo's commanding officer arrives, he tells the local law enforcement "You misunderstand me, gentlemen, I'm not here to save Rambo from you, I'm here to save you from Rambo"
I used to despise the rich with these attitudes but after hearing a very poor man hit it big and his explanation of the perils of wealth, I feel pity for them now. If you were born this wealthy, you could never enjoy anything. Your first special at McDonalds, your first vacation, your first car that you worked hard for, ... You see, that everything being poor deprived you of will give you the wonderful feeling of accomplishment once attained, that these poor souls will never have the opportunity for, because their isn't anything that they desire to have.

@El indigena Yes, some people do need to be responsible and not expect others to always rescue them. That is how some girls boyfriend shoots some poor guy that got involved...
@@JettBlast trafficked women are monitored or corralled by gangs who pay off dirty cops who have political connections. My dad was a dirty cop who participated in that life and went on to become mayor of our town. One woman cant just get away on her own without being picked up by another gang member later or the dirty cop who wrangles exploited women for whatever gang is trafficking the woman. You sound ignorant saying "no one is going to rescue a woman she has to save herself," survivors have saved themselves on repeat. The problem is no one changes these system set up for women to be exploited and returned to their abuser once escaped. Before you speak on a topic this serious educate yourself.
They do. Plenty of stories about it. But as the good guys, they got caught. They didn't care about the consequences, they made a choice. If someone killed, assaulted, or raped one of my family members, I'd probably do the same if the law didn't do its job.
From man on fire, safehouse to the equalizer movies, Denzel is a very believeable tough guy. He destroys when needed and it looks so real. Once he sets his timer its time to run or pray.
After physical bullying of 3 vs 1 in school I became very angry, for the next 3 years of my life I kept fighting against myself in my head that I was eating shit during every meal. While eating tomato or chilli sauce I fought against myself in my head that I was eating menstrual period blood. During EVERY single second of those 3 years I also kept fighting against myself in my head that the bullies were sodomizing me and my family members. Even going to other schools didn't resolve this mental torture because the anger was still there. As a result I severely couldn't concentrate during exams and classes. I am still having self esteem issues 14 years on from the incident. I went to army and didn't do some admin work due to fighting myself in my head and army people thought I was lazy and thus bullied me as well. This is why I have zero sympathies and zero tolerance for bullies. I am 33 years old and don't even have a first girlfriend, partly sabotaged due to bullying, masturbating to myself everyday like a loser. I have also missed out on $400,000++ of opportunity cost in earnings from jobs. I went to teach the bullies a lesson by cyberbullying/harassing them online, the bullies were so "strong" until they went to call the police LOL, but like I mentioned above, I have zero regrets and I don't see it as something wrong because I went to the police and they said they could do nothing about it, plus because I was teaching them a lesson :) When I finally cried after 3 years due to constantly fighting against myself in my head it was an outbreak of tears across my whole face, it was so bad until my mucus reached my forehead. Please spread on this comment so that people can know how serious the aftermath of bullying is and have lesser cases of bullying in the future.
The most impressive part of this scene is that he’s such a bad ass that he didn’t even need to unlock the deadbolt to leave. Guess the door was scared and unlocked itself.
I’ve watched this scene over and over. LOVED IT! Those guys got handled! 😁👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Movie or no movie, it’s just the redemption you’d hope for. Go Denzel! 😁😆
Over and over huh? Notice anything wrong?..... Liiiiiiiike he doesnt unlock the door to leave?.... Or he doesnt get any phones or cameras like the plan was?
Please remember that this is not real, just an acted, scripted movie which probably took many takes to film. In reality the lone “good guy” is killed within seconds.
If an old fella knowingly walks into a situation where he's outnumbered and makes demands knowing that you have no qualms about breaking the law, you should assume he's holding all the cards and save yourself the pain
One of those satisfying moments in the cinema, where you genuinely wish you were the man administering the justice . Like Clint Eastwood before him , or Edward woodwood , you understand the scales of justice are weighed heavily in the name of the offender . And people need reminding that consequences might just catch up with you , in ways you never imagined . I salute all the heroes who settle the score for all the victims that never had a chance . As long as it's valid , let the score be settled ,& the guilty be removed from humanity .
Actually that's not true. Listen carefully. You can clearly hear 2 click sound. The first comes when he open the lock, and the second when he open the door.
@@beinunionwiththeSupreme I've got a better idea. How about I do whatever the fuck I want? And I'll let you do whatever you want? Yeah, let's go with that.
Not only did I love this fight scene but I loved this movie a lot. Denzel Washington is a great actor. I'm looking forward to watching Equalizer 3 in theaters.
McCall is a highly trained fighter, it is my belief that at 0.49 he is entering a trance like state where his senses are heightened so everything is moving in slow motion to him. No way you could beat him because to him you are moving like molasses.
Actually, the more trained you are and accustomed to violence, the less likely you’ll have a biological response that heightens your senses. That’s his normal, he’s not afraid, he didn’t have an adrenaline dump.
@@LuckyCharms777 I never stated he had an adrenaline dump nor do I think for a moment he is scared. I stated he is highly trained and I believe that training includes entering a state where his senses are heightened due to being calm and in control. He uses the watch to 'ground' himself.
Really loved the way he asked the last guy for his left hand, he can grab his hands easily, but instead he makes the last guy give him his hand willingly.
You've got to give a special hand to the sound effects specialist. Wonderfully "crunchy" sounds when the arm, neck, and fingers are broken, or a head smashes into a glass coffee table. The sounds in real life aren't quite as dramatic as these effects are, but they add a certain visceral depth to the action.
We could use a whole regiment of equalizers right now to set things right in this country. Bravo Denzel well played sir. Clint Eastwood and yourself are my two very favorite actors. You both deserve all the credit you receive and for your your real life contributions to this world as well. Truly Legendary...

Total badassery! The lesson one can take from this is if one guy can confront 4 or 5 guys at once without fear, you can bet that one guy can deal out the pain, don't take him on.
When the guy locks the door it makes me think of Rorschach "none of you seem to understand, I'm not locked in here with you - you're locked in here with me"
This is just a sample of what Denzel does to most of the actors he works with. He is violent like this to remind them all that when he is doing a movie everybody needs to respect his acting! All of these guys will never forget what Denzel did to them for the rest of their lives. It's obvious for almost all of them their acting careers are now over.
I haven't seen the 2nd one yet. only this small clip. back in 2014 when the FIRST one came out. I stayed in the Movie Theater Twice to watch it. it was just that GOOD.
In 1979 I was in New York as I was walking down 5th Ave I saw a stunning African American man walking towards me he was dressed to the nines in a suit with a casmer overcoat, he definitely turned my head. A year or two later I watched a new show on television called St Elsewhere and there was the man from New York! Mr Denzel Washington! Later in Interviews he talked about studying in New York and how he would be known for dressing in suits and ties even as a student.
Que Colonel Kurtz's speech before he dies, from Apocalypse Now..."We train young men to drop fire on people. But their commanders won't allow them to write 'fvck' on their airplanes because it's obscene!"
This is what I'd like to see in real life .but we all know there's not enough people that have the integrity to be this kind of person .. but it sure nice to dream .
When yuppies meet that ONE man NOBODY wants to meet. "There's a man goin' 'round takin' names. And he decides who to free, and who to blame. Everybody won't be treated all the same. There'll be a golden ladder reaching down... When the Man comes around." (Johnny Cash)
