Some classes actually use Discord because it's easier to find out if the student is actually listening or doing something else. It's also easier to manage and organize in general, with the different sections function.

There are some discord servers for students actually to study. I do belong to one here in the philippines

It depends on the country, culture and can be even the difference between rural and urban living environments. All of my kids were taught to cook except my youngest who is on the spectrum. As i was taught to cook from young but most of my daughters friends have no basic cooking skills.

in Korea parents cook for you for a ver long time and not only that he is their youngest and youngest are usually treated like a baby in Korea

Well, both you and him are a blessing to your parents for being passionate and knowledgeable in cooking, not all kids have the same drive and passion as both of you. Most of the kids just enjoys and wants to eat hehe

For me it’s just about right. If we flipped the situation, imagine a western kid cooking asian food at a very young age, where they grew up in an environment that doesn’t specialize in that menu. Those hosts sees him as their own son, especially the women. I think that’s how a ‘mother-figure’ would react if they saw food cooked by someone at a young age :)

Not really. Not only he's a boy, about 10/11 years old (international age), he's korean (which many of them don't start cook at young age-since their mom/dad/house helper does), he's also an actor's son (which means his family are well off). If you watch other kvariety shows, you can see many other k artists that are already adults, don't know how to cook (especially kprean side dishes) since their parents send them food even if they stay alone or they always order for delivery. Of course there are people who cook by themselves and start doing so at young age but it's not really overreacting for me :)
