I thought this thing was going to be op and the most fun vehicle in the patch, but the fox took me by surprise with how fast it is and with its high pen gun
As long as the penetration value for the MK 103 does not go back up to 95mm pen, it will be still way behind his true potential. Germany is one of the few nations, that now have no high pen aa-tanks.
yeah, I long for the pre Jacob de Marre penetration numbers. In my opinion that was the worst decision from Gaijin ever. Especially when now every god damn allied heavy MG and 20 mm cannon have way too much penetration. They made every single aircraft with that kind of armament into a CAS aircraft, awful. Same goes for the soviet heavy MG and cannons. The large nerf to every German HVAP belt was unwarranted. Germany has three aircraft cannons with any armor penetration capacity and yet Gaijin gave two of them a 20% nerf, while buffing every single other nation.
They already have great aa. The Americans need a good aa desperately at around 6.0. the M42 I think it's called is absolutely crap. Im using the rank 2 AA at 6.7 because it's that bad.
I do still think it is an upgrade because of the increase in crew protection, BUT the Kugelblitz should definitely not be at 7.0 in a dead battle rating. It belongs at Br. 6.7 in line with the last of the WW2 content and the increase in crew protection and decrease in firepower does not warrant a full tier.
