They all pretty much suck. The claw does 30 damage with a 2 second cooldown, the dagger does ranging from 10 to 50 damage every 2 seconds with shorter range and the hammer does 100 damage from a long range every 6 seconds with the added perk of launching you upwards which can help you traverse the map or get out of harms way. The dagger does more dps but in this game with melee you want to do as much damage as you can in one go before enemys have a chance to strike. 100 damage is also broken in the early levels before your gun is levelled.
