On June 6, 1944, That’s All, Brother carried the first of the paratroopers from the 101st and 82nd Airborne divisions. Piloted by Lt. Col John Donalson, the plane led over 800 C-47s which dropped over 13,000 paratroopers into a battle that changed the course of mankind.

Riding in this for only 30 minutes really makes you appreciate what those young paratroopers experienced. Words cannot express my gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice 🇺🇸

My first ever airplane trip was in an old Southern Airways DC-3. To me the DC-3/C-47 will always be one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built. These old tail draggers just have a certain class to them that modern aircraft just cannot touch. And did anyone notice how gently the pilot lowered that rear wheel down onto the runway?

How beautiful and to think this year after 75 years she flew the exact same route with other original aircraft to Normandy. God bless her and those that brought her back from decay. She looked out for us, its only right we do the same for her...long may she fly...

This historic plane should do a one time round the tour so people can have a chance to see it. This will also generate donations that can keep this aircraft airworthy. We salute you "That's All, Brother"

My father flew a C-47 in WW II, he commanded a flight wing. He was shot down the day before the Normandy invasion after dropping radio sticks. He crash landed in Bastone France and was taken prisoner for six week before the US MARINES and the Russian forces liberated the stalag...it’s a gorgeous air craft, long live the Goonie bird!!!!!

It appears in the video that the rubber door seals are missing leading to ALOT of wind noise in that area. Please put some window foam tape or something around the interior of the door - not to pressurize the cabin, just to mellow out that wind noise as air passes over that unsealed door.

Probably mandated by the FAA as part of their bureaucratic nonsense that helps destroy the authenticity of these great airplanes.

So many chubbies onboard. What is it with interest in American aviation history and lack of fitness? (Pointless sound track...nothing could be distinguished from this noise)

Congrats, you made the shortlist for the dumbest juvenile comment of the year awards. What, people with worthwhile engaging interests annoy you? And it's not a friggin' music video.
