Hi I have one question with regards to Groin Injuries during sport events such as soccer/baseball etc...why is it when a guy suffers a low blow (groin hit) - the medics always elevate their legs and bring the knees to their chest? I also noticed they lift up their pelvis (saw this being performed numerous times). Does those methods help to relieve the pain to the injured party? Can someone please explain this to me? P.S feel free to you use medical jargon or layman terms😀
@@spartacus7216 I'm not exactly sure, but what I think is that it suppresses the area of pain. Just like how you bend when you get a sudden stomachache.
The first L guard was used in cricket in 1874 and the first cricket helmet was used in 1974. It took men 100 years to realise that their head was also important.
No they were intelligent because they first protect future generation .Take a example if in 1874 ball would have hit other ball then the futute generation couldn't prepare helmet.

That Srilankan player got two times hit down there.I bet both his wife and him do not see this at all as funny video. That bowler Wasim Akram destroyed his sex life forever.
Back in '03, there was this EPIC low blow that Mark Butcher took in a test match. They played it on Ultra Motion (coz it was a new thing back then) and it unexpectedly showed his little rocks wobbling around after being hit in super slow motion. The commentators had a laugh too.
@Ptolemy Looks like u r high on weed mate... i have never seen Shaun tait bowl a 120kmph delivery ... wait a sec ... arent u getting confused between kmph and mph🤪
3:57 4:06 Just imagine how much does the ball need to swing for the batsman to think that it's going to leave the off stump, and then it swings in to hit him on the balls. TWICE CONSECUTIVELY! Great bowling by Akram. Eyeing the top of "middle stump"😆
I was hit on the box, a few times as a teenager, in the early 1980s. The box cushions the blow from a cricket ball, but can be painful and uncomfortable.
