So are the Nerubians now back into the fold with the old gods? I wonder how far back their culture goes and how much we will learn about the past of Azeroth. Maybe even some glimpses to a pre-order Azeroth.

You have to get both warglaives on the same character and then kill Illidan in Black Temple Timewalking specifically, and then you can transmog them on a demon hunter
I don't know about this. I've always wondered if they wear the bandages because they became ethereals as to be able to be visible to others. The style also doesn't seem to match for me.
I think Arachnaphobea mode (w/e that spelled) is a good move cause they can go deep on dark gorey graphic details in the future and they can just have an option to turn them into unicorns
I was thinking little bunnies, but then I would have to kill the little bunnies and it would make me sad. At least killing spiders is cathartic. (Although, my big brother would have hated playing where there are spiders, he was so phobic that he once actually shot his refrigerator trying to get rid of a spider crawling on it.)
I have thalassophobia and Vash'jir is my favorite zone, I don't get why people need phobia filters in a game, the fear just turns the part of the game it's in into a horror segment lol

I never stopped to think about the parallels of primordial Azeroth and Earth: the elemental lords' rule coincides with the Hadean Eon, the Old Gods' arrival and defeat of the elementals is Azeroth's Archaean Eon, the rule of the Aqir mirrors the rule of Arthropods during the early Paleozoic Era (since arthropods grew larger/more dominant thanks to the abundance of oxygen), and the Aqir's downfall at the hands of mortals/titans is Azeroth's Cenozoic Era. Really makes ya think

I am in the alpha, and as long you do not choose to go the new isle you don't experience anything new besides the login screen warband. Once in game there is no cutscene, or lead in. Just a giant teleport to new zone NPC that you can talk to in org or stormwind. So avoiding spoilers is completely possible. If you were only concerned about testing mechanics.
100%. I’m also in the Alpha. Even questztauren skip just takes you right to a starting quest. No spoiler of anything leading up to it. I hope they stick with this moving forward and dont tease anything. If you go to WoWhead, that’s on you. Gameplay feels buttery smooth and Hero Talents on a lot of specs are actually quite good. Some change the experience a lot and some just enhance the current play.
Looking at that spider in their palace, it gives Tazavesh with Revendreth color schemes. And the spider queen herself, might be due to the model reminded me of The Winter Queen
look into the skardyn, It's actually great they're being used. They were originally supposed to appear in Grim Batol.. Due to the lingering void curse there.. Which was from Xala'tath. Some one on the team did their homework. It's no coincidence Grim Batol is being used in the first seasonal dungeon pool too.

Didn't a lot of things like Botani and Saberon come through the Draenor portal from the maghar recruitment quest? So what stops these Genesaurs from A.) Coming through themselves. B.) The Botani summoning them from some elemental plane or whatever. C.) Arrived through like the Botani and heard about the opportunities to influence the World Soul that could spark a Sporemound recreation on Azeroth. D.) We did see one manage to open a portal to Stormwind or take advantage of mages to get there. So what stops them from doing that after seeing our world through WoD and the BFA events.
I honestly think one of the biggest things that the latest expansions are trying to demonstrate that everything we’ve known about the history of the world and everything else is pretty much all lie that was crafted by someone presumably the Titans and by the end of the World Soul Saga we will have completely realized that the Titans had us duped from the start and that they’re the true enemy. I mean even Nozdormu has effectively made peace with himself and the Infinite flight and the idea that that he’s going to become Moruzond. in fact we already made friends with some of the Infinite just like we have made friends with some of the members of the Void and Legion and so it wouldn’t be all too far-fetched that the titans are in fact, the bad guys or at least serve an greater evil. It’s also possible that they were at some point corrupted by that greater evil but don’t know it and so they may genuinely be trying to help the people of Azeroth, but can’t truly do so until they’re freed from whoever their truly is
Dont know much about Xal. Is it possible she will possess Alleria. Sort of take he form to be able to manifest in the material plane? Sort of like lea and diablo?
Maybe it's far-fetched, but what if Xal is a future version of Alleria? They both share some similarities; perhaps that's why Alleria covers her arm now, as she's acquiring similar runes to Xal. Additionally, Xal definitely travels through time. I bet something horrible will happen to Alleria in Midnight. All elves in Quel´Thalas and the void are trying something shady with the sunwell? At this point, Allerias third "death" will happen. Edit: "At the hour of her third death, she ushers in your coming." Alleria "dies" in Midnight>something happens with Sunwell, and she's brought back in time to the dark empire>she becomes incredibly corrupted and turns into Xal. This is also a circle.
What if xal'atath and alleria merge? We already know she took one elfs body(technically dead) but that makes me wonder what if she could merge with a living one. That could cause an almost split personality thing or something. Edit I do like your idea as well, and they do seem to be hinting towards some connection between them. If xal'atath was Alleria than perhaps her son could save her? Edit 2- just played the dark heart quests and xal'atath has access to Alleria's memories that's kind of crazy after reading your stuff.
Is there any direct connection between highborne and nerubians? What if they’re a similar situation akin to Azsharas deal forming the Naga. Especially with the heavy implications of that 5th old god. Plus all this moon imagery and them looking Naga-esque
@Pyrolancer i love that you mention the similarities with Lloth and Karsus in this expansion preview. This expansion is totally giving some D&D vibes more than WoW has in its past. I certainly feel it in the Alpha so far.

27:17 I've been saying it so many times now its amazing no one seem to get it. The Old Gods is NOT void origin. They are just pawns of the void now. The curse of flesh came from the old gods, not the void. The curse of flesh comes from the forge of wills. Which was allegedly created by Mimiron and Archaedas after the old gods/black empire were defeated. But lets face it. Forge of wills and halls of origination was most likely created by black empire and only remodeled by the titans. So before the black empire was defeated, the old gods were their own beings. And now they are an half-empty shell, controlled by void
What about Vereesa Windrunner and her twin sons? They live in Dalaran now, so what happens to them? Also, Valeria doesn't have her bow in her new look so she has gone full void?

Devs confirmed it is not the sword. It’s a mysterious light crystal. Although given the expac is set underground near the sword it’s highly likely we’ll see it at some point.
@@MilkshakeGuruTTV I'm a woman, but retail is just childish to me at this point. I used to play WoW because I love fantasy, but the fantasy aspect is almost non-existent. Dragonflight was more about crafting friendships than any fantasy action or intrigue. Even Shadowlands bored me less.
