On to Florence! Under the brightest sunlight of the trip, we wave goodbye to our beautiful coastal enclave to head North to the meet up with my parents for the final destination of our trip. We stroll through the beautiful and timeless city of Florence, taking in Piazaa del Signoria, Pallazo Vechio, and the world famous Ponte Vechio bridge. The incredibly massive dome of the Duomo dominates the sky at every turn.
We head over to I' Mangiarino's for some unbelievable steak Florantine and even better atmosphere. The husband and wife team there make you feel like long-lost family!
For movie lovers: The Pallazo Vechio was used in the Movie Hannibal when he throws the detective off of the balcony. I knew I recognized it!
