Thanks for showing hit-boxes. I believe the stationary enemies that spawn all over the map are more likely to be called neutrals, meaning not on either of the teams, but naturals works too
I'm not sure if it's a language barrier but crosshair choice has no in-game interaction with bullet accuracy or hitbox registry, it's merely aesthetic. I feel like any interactions you may be noticing are caused by the way bullets are spawned in this game; that is they are traced from the player model itself, and not from the player point of view as it works in many other games. Say for instance that you are standing at a distance to the left of a given hitbox, you are more likely to hit the right side of the hitbox than the right side, because your bullets are traced from the player model itself and have to cross over the enemy hitbox before they can miss. This is why if you stand close you can hit an enemy despite not even aiming at them.
Absolutely, I thought it was clear in the video. Even if I don't aim, the bullet still hits because of the reason you explained. Thank you for explaining it in detail. Also, the crosshair doesn't have any physical effect on the game of course, but if you choose a dot sight and choose a hero like Haze where headshots are very important, I'm sure you'll see that your headshot frequency increases a lot. For example, deadlock pro MikaelS uses a small 5-gen with a hollow center. This is also a very good tactic since it's not very noticeable when you make the crosshair a small dot. But of course it can cause problems with shoutgun characters like Abrams
Fun fact about Mo&Krill’s burrow hitbox is that while damage is armored, you can still stack debuffs on it or use stun abilities like Seven’s 2 or Wraith’s Ult. But Wraith’s Ult won’t actually grab them because it always floats above the ground.
a bit confused when you mention the importance of crosshair choice around 1:50 I assume crosshair has no actual effect on whether or not bullets hit, correct? You're just stating that the crosshair can help visually?
My bad I thought it was clear, I tried to say that if you see your crosshair as dot for example, you will better at aiming for head. At least it is like that for me when playing as haze. it is not effecting physically. Or you can choose to see range af your recoil to aim better
