Gameplaywise, the game itself isn't inherently worse than 2014, it's a lot more responsive and whatnot, but it is missing 90% of the kick-ass rock and metal music from 2014 songs that made people buy the game in the first place, and it lacks any sort of modding support. Rocksmith Plus's lineup isn't horrible, just disappointing comparing to 2014. Edit - disappointing to a specific genre, and to a specific set of individuals. I shouldn't act like my opinion is universal, because it isn't. Not everyone is a metal head, and I guarantee a lot of people are gaining a lot more enjoyment from Rocksmith Plus's vast variety of other genres, but I wish that metal could've got more attention with this game, and who knows, maybe it will in the future.

3:46 is one of, if not the best moment on the album for me. the high scream backed up by that riff is just eargasmic. the only thing that even comes close is the one part in "eternally apart", the "we exist together while eternally apart" section.
