I always wondered why these goals were so beautiful. I think what makes this record so great is not just the kick but also the skill, the aesthetics, the timing and the goalkeeper reaching for the ball. If the goalkeeper hadn't reached for the ball it probably wouldn't have been such a beautiful goal but he did! Amazing indeed! A goal like poetry!
