Great Sage makes him fairly OP, especially with Predator, but interestingly what gets him so far is his personality. If you read Veldora's slime observation journal, Veldora always notes that he would handle certain situations by just using his powers to blast everything to smithereens, and that while Rimuru is not as powerful as him, he could easily do the same in many situations, but Veldora notes that Rimuru often takes more difficult paths that don't rely on overwhelming power and that Rimuru's method pays off big time in the long run. In other words, the most OP thing about Rimuru is that he's a nice guy.
