As much as i love gt, i find it funny how goku lost his gi when he first fought super 17, went ssj4, blew himself up, reverted back to a kid and REGREW his gi. Its the only thing i dont understand, toei never explains how ssj4 magically changes clothes and then reverts
@firechargeogname yeah you don't see a ssj kid goku who's power is still cut in half because of the spell that has him as a kid form , ssj4 is the only way he can bring his power back to normal fully so goku knocking 17 across the planet in ssj as a kid is a great feat , he could knock plenty ppl across the planet way before but there's a difference with knocking someone across the planet like super 17

I can't believe I'm about to 'to be fair' something from GT of all things but TO BE FAIR the last time(I THINK) in canon, Goku fought someone who absorbed energy, it was Yakon in Buu, and he killed him by overloading him. pretty sure he was trying to do the same to S17.
He didn't even know they absorb energy, he heard that they couldn't so why would he assume a being with infinite stamina would absorb energy? Now if this was super you can't be fair, that shit is fried. Even Z is super fried often like giving cell a senzu bean or Gohan letting Buu get Gotenks.
So Goku knew that energy attacks was making Super 17 stronger and yet he still kept doing it he even hit him with a 10x Kamehameha, and people want to complain about Goku being dumb in Super when this is even worse.
Super 17 was cool asf tbh he had such a badass aura around him literally beating the shit out of all the Z fighters and had to resort to Goku beating him in a way that didn’t revolve around SS4.
@@sky-oq5mr no he was not Goku in base in the shadow dragons arc surpassed his ssj4 form in the super 17 arc. The same reason why SSJ Goku from the super 17 arc surpassed his ssj4 form from the baby arc. So him going ssj4 in the shadow dragons arc against those dragons alone puts them on a whole another level from super 17. super goku isn’t the only Goku that got exponentially stronger after every arc. Plus GT gokus tail amplified his zenkai boost & multipliers .

His base was higher than baby arc though but not super 17. Right after fighting him the Dragonballs turned into those dragons dude. Wtf you talking about?
