Appreciate you sharing something that was outside of your comfort area and not perfect. It will be good for people to see the evolution of Kayaking with Flair. Good for the kids to see that even their favorite RU-vidrs go through growing pains, but stick it out, work hard, and perfect their craft. Good stuff. Keep up the great work!
Flair, you and Jon are my favorite bass fisher men. You in particular give helpful tips and they have helped while I bass fish up in the rivers. You're a good example. "good example" "no peric"
Sweet video as always! Please do a q and a next video!! For a Q and A: what was your favorite part of the Scott Martin Challenge? Or what is your favorite top water frog, like the brand or color and such, thankyou!!!
Good job flair. Would like to see more kayak vids in the future. And btw I learned that a weightless senko is a great follow up bait for a frog, so thank you!
flair a quick tip on kayak fishing and kayaking in general get a paddle leash so u can just set ur paddle in the water and not worry about it float away
All the lakes by me have 10' clarity so if you get time to fish clear water and throw some tips for that sometime. Hows the tundra holding up for ya? Im glad someone is living the dream man!
Hey Andrew, you should do a series called fishing with subscribers where you take them fishing with you and teach them how to bass fish. It would be a cool series!
Pelican is a great company, the Catch 120 is a perfect starting kayak for sure. You did good, you didn't make most of the beginner mistakes most people make. As far as the small fish you caught, it's not a big deal, the fish being caught are just one aspect of kayak fishing. I would love to see more kayak videos., you got some really nice picturesque shots from your yak. Subbed and liked. Tight lines.
yes, continue with the kayak fishing. I'm new to kayak fishing scene and would like your take on it and any techniques. thanks, great Channel #googansquad 👍👍🎣
just a little tip for kayaking, when you are coming in, paddle as hard as you possibly can and go as fast as you can and beach yourself. It will make it easier to get out of the kayak
Hey, bud. Love the videos. I have fished here, in Florida, my whole life, and when a big bass hits a top-water frog I get more consistent hookups if I set the hook very late. It's almost lazy and its hard to control your instinctual reaction to set. lol.
I enjoy your videos. I often fish out of a kayak. I'd love to see you fish on a river with a paddle kayak. I've done the Mississippi and you better have a plan and a life jacket.
People just like seeing fish caught yes big fish are exciting but tell the technical stuff as your doing it and you have happy people. fish on have fun
just a tip but when you're kayak fishing go with as small of a hook as you can it requires less pressure to get the hook in and therefore you catch more fish love your vids
Hey Andrew awesome vids man keep up the good work. I just got into bass fishing about a year ago but I suck at it! The biggest I have caught was about 2 pounds......😫 I'm on the Oregon coast I'm used to fishing only for trout/steelhead/salmon and all the lakes that are near me have very little bass.... All the ponds that have many bass are 3 hours away and when I go to those I just catch babies lol I wish I could go fishing with you!
I do a lot of Kayak fishing. You paddle needs to be a little longer. It will make it easier to paddle and you can get some were faster. And the 2 little rubber rings go in the center were the paddle connects so it doesn't want to move.
I know I'm way way behind but I work all over the dfw area and I saw the hello kitty boat today and I have fished my whole life and for Father's Day I would love for you and the guys to come out to azle texas and go lake hoping with me and my dad he loves fishing like I do and I'd love to give him the gift of fishing with y'all
Man you have taught me all the stuff I need to know about catching bass thank you so much AndrewFlairOutdoors I love your channel and you are the best RU-vid fisherman
I couldn't totally tell by the camera angles but you may need a longer paddle for that kayak. Just noticed you adjusting your grip on the paddle between strokes. fun video though. I love Kayak fishing
I dig all the vid's and tips......just got a Castaway Mag Med-Heavy with a Pro G reel (6.8:1) on your recommendation, love it. I'm hoping you might do an in depth look at late summer to fall/winter series or video. I'm down in Georgia, no boat so doing a lot of pond and bank fishing right now. Would like to see your thoughts on what tactics to use in the fall months.
I feel like your arguing with the camera? I think the "do you" is the best thing to do the character and personality play a big role in your channel man my fav part is the humor and randomness
Good vid Drew! Need some tips tho, I fish a lot of grassy ponds and reservoirs here in Georgia that are pressured. I mostly catch most my bass on lipless cranks and spinner baits. But it limits me on certain waters, any suggestions for lures, we have a lot bream folage that the bass feed on. Thanks
Would you take that kayak on "Big" water....or a recreational lake with lots of boaters and possible wakes? Post a video of that? Im on the fence of whether to go 14/16 foot jon/v or kayak for my local lake. Its the biggest lake in New Mexico...but water levels are low.
I got into kayak fishing this summer. I quickly learned, spend the extra $ and get one with the peddled set up if u wanna seriously fish. very difficult and aggravating trying to hold a rod and stay in one area when reeling in a nice one. I've got mine set up pretty decent but if I wish to continue I'll be switching to that one next yr.
hobies are nice (I have the 2016 outback) but you certainly don't need it. I did just fine with a OK prowler 15 for years, until I got a hobie, I still have my old yak.
+texas fishin yeah, I've watched a few videos on those style kayaks and it seems like it would be a little better than what a traditional one has to offer but it all is still kind of a pain no matter what kind u have imo lol. I'm just going to have to do some more fishing out of them and more research before I decide.
