CC is playing the other team and the refs while her own team doesn't stand up for her. Why are we supposed to watch? I don't see much education for young girls except what not to do. She did not see the cheap shot until after the press conference? Did they not have a replay in the arena? Do they not have an iPad that could let her see it on the sidelines? Penalties and fouls do not have the same effect in wnba as in men’s sports where winning matters. In nfl or nba penalties can change behavior because they can lose games. In wnba nobody cares about winning so penalties don’t matter,

This coach is far too timid in her semi defense of her own best player. Open your mouth and get brutally honest and demand action. Otherwise go find another career. Your best player is in physical danger and needs a stronger defense from you, GM, owner and the other players. Pathetic. She deserves so much better.

I started watching the NBA because of Michael Jordan. I became a fan of many other NBA players because of that. I became fans of the other NBA players because of their skills on the court, not because they brutalized rookie players. Don't these players get that?

I see the media replay her response repetitively but completely ignore what took place moments prior to her reaction….. this is making their narrative works so well because they omit what caused her to do what she did…. So Carter wasn't lying about Clark. All I see her doing is jacking up 3s from way behind the arc. That's bad shot selection. Her basketball iq needs to seriously improve if she wants to be considered a great. Right now she isn't even close. Just because u can make them on occasion doesn't mean u should keep shooting them. She needs to drive and dish and take it to the hole. That 3 point shot she needs to make better shot selections like in the flow of the offense instead of dribbling all over the place and pulling up. She walked slowly over to Caitlin, there was no serious rushing over with concern, and she was laughing. The rest of the players did do anything during the game when they found out, they didn't do anything after the game, or even a day after the game. None of her teammates said anything about the disgusting assault of a fellow teammate. Fever players didn't do anything about the assault on Caitlin in the storm game, when she got pounded in the head.

Here’s some facts to digest. We never heard of Clark until the end of her junior year. We heard A LOT about A’ja Wilson over and over and over and over. We also heard all about Paige Bueckers from day one, even after she was hurt and out for two years. They made a statue of A’ja Wilson and placed it on the campus of University of South Carolina. Once A’ja went to the big leagues no one went after her physically on the court. No one went after Aliyah Boston once she went pro. They are going hard after Caitlin. Why? Can you fathom the vitriol if University of Iowa erected a statue of Caitlin Clark? We need to examine the race issue here because it is a potential factor in how Clark has been treated. Hats off to Caitlin for handling this with grace. I would not be so patient and kind.

Caitlyn Clark is in a league of her own. She is a multi-talented baller that brings more than just the obvious talent displayed by her record breaking stats. She brings so many intangibles to the sport and the league that aren't measured by stats which make her polarizing and a perfect representative for the WNBA and its sponsors. THAT IS WHY SHE IS SUCH A BIG DRAW. She's a breath of fresh air to the league. What she is doing for the WNBA is the same thing she did for the NCAA. Attracting sellout crowds and higher ticket pricing can only help each and every player in the WNBA. Her teammates and competitors are so full of jealousy and hate that their "feelings" are causing such short-sightedness on their part. For the most part, she keeps her "feelings" to herself, especially public facing where many other players are so immature and petty in their interviews and their own social media accounts. She's only 22 yet players much older than her cannot behave as poised and as professional as her in front of the media. Eventually the "new audiences" that CC has attracted will grow tired of the drama and the lack of maturity and those that just want to watch great women ballers play great ball without the hate and jealousy will not come and attendance will drop again. As we all know, attendance drives ticket pricing which drives players salaries. Heaven forbid one of those blows, errr "basketball plays" she takes causes a serious injury that knocks CC out for the season, or worse. Their short sightedness is ridiculous, or else they are delusional thinking that the increase in attendance etc is just coincidence...
Caitlin needs to stop dribbling into defense, this stops her ability and space to shoot. Also, these are pros use to multiple games- stop using the tired excuse.
