Pike would have her stuff there, but having ancestors ashes on hand is purely for the joke of Grog eating something he shouldnt - 10:05 In the intro she turns into the white tiger without horns, here shes turning into an actual jackalope, not just a plain rabbit with her own horns. Its definitely a head band, its just been so simplified for animation its become horns only. Looks a bit silly when it falls to the floor later and the horns remain fixed in their position, as if on an invisible band.
Keyleth's aramente isn't so much her family rejecting her. We'll learn more about it season 2, but it's better thought of as part cultural tradition and part job interview. The reason she has to do it is because she's in line to become the leader of her people, so sort of royality except instead of just something given as a birth right, the Ashari require that you complete certain tasks to make sure you're up to the job. So it isn't that she has to prove she's worthy of her family's love, it's to prove she's capable of being head of her tribe.

My cat Tiberius was named after Captain Kirk from Star Trek. I don't know much about the origins or lore of this show aside from the fact thats based on DnD, but as it happens, I'm not a DnD fan.
I don't know how much it helps, but many reactors put an overlay over the clips they show to help stop the automatic copyright strike, since the computers don't seem to understand fair use. Keyleth wears a circlet - although the animation makes it hard to see how it's actually connected or stays on. In game, the circlet gave her a +2 bonus to both her Wisdom and Charisma (coming from Pathfinder). She turns into a jackalope when she grabs the book The wraiths were raised by Delilah, who is shown to be a necromancer. (The joke being that as a vampire, Sylas is a neck romancer). This episode was written by Ashly Burch, best known for her roles in the Borderlands and Horizon Forbidden West game series. She also played with the gang in campaign 2. Pike departing at the end reflects the time Ashley Johnson got the role of Patterson on Blindspot and had to leave to go film in New York.
