I remember one guy there used to walk around with a cricket bat yellin "No photos, no photos!" ha ha... And the guy whose car rolled off the cliff and he went for a surf anyway. Paddling back in on your own across the extra spooky clear but black water said to be 100m deep and from which you expected the whiteys to come up out of. 40degree days with freezin cold water.Funny times man. Takes me back alright.
I used to surf this place from early 1980's through to the early 90's. Crazy wave. Had the most amazing days out there. The wave has such power, very heavy when bigger. Got lots of super 8 footage from here (when the locals weren't lookin)
Wow thats about the only other footage of BlackFellas i have ever seen ! I used to surf there in the 90`s and had footage of it at 8-10ft it was soooooo heavy i think i only caught 2 waves and paddled in after seeing my mate get pitched on takeoff and bounce across the reef for at least 30 seconds, he thought he was gonna die. As for sharks the nearest hospital is probably 200km`s away so you dont want to see any of them.............which of course you do !!!!!! Great vid, takes me waaay back.
@@memoresto3480 man if you can't tell that i'm just poking fun at australianisms and take this so seriously, you need to take a look at yourself. i'm gonna start calling this break 'memor esto is a fuckwit'.
@markusreba They typically act that way when there is more than one of them and you are outnumbered. Same phenomenon you see in a parking lot when a bunch of guys are standing in the driving lane talking and ignore a car that's trying to get past them. Somehow being part of a mob transforms a person into a complete ahole.
