A huge part of having a lawn that "looks like a golf course" is working on it to maintain it. Removing thatch and root mass that lives on top of the soil level helps tremendously to maintain a low height of cut over the course of the season.

The lawn is a labor of love. I use a 10 x 12 tarp to remove most of my scalped grass. Lay it on the lawn and rake grass on it, then drag it to the pole. It holds about 6 cans full each trip. Either way you’re on your way😁

2021 the year of Lawn Rebel domination! Off to a great start! Go get a metal ballfield drag. That's what we use on the golf course for top dressing and can help with aeration plugs. Just make sure it's one with heft.

They seriously are. The stupid gov restrictions and limitations on water really screwed up the washing of clothes... This doesn't even take into account that they stink because of mold in the machine

@Conner I've got a drag that I built, modeled after yours and have mounted broom heads on the top side so I can flip it over and broom in the sand. Works great! You're welcome to borrow it. I'm in Salt Lake.

3 apps. Space apps 10 days apart. Something with Triclopyr in it. Use surfactant and you will get a upper hand.

Just listened to an old podcast of you and Ryan. Unbelievably, I had no idea you did custom builds. I've watched for years and didn't know that. What area of Utah does the company serve. My parents are looking at properties out there for a "2nd" home (although it's more like a 4th home). Pops is 67 and retiring. Mom grew up out there and wants a place by her parents in their 80's.

@@lawnrebel It's great I've got one that I use on Renos for friends and family, along with dealing with leaves every year since I've got neighbors who basically refuse to lift a rake. I would recommend getting sports wrap for tennis rackets though for the handle. (I have the push kind, not the tow behind.)

Does thatch work well in a compost pile ? Nice job as always , looking forward to more lawn vids... I'm 100% with you on the washing machine thoughts. I bought an agitator less washer...Lasted less than 10 years and never did clean very well. The suspension system needed to be replaced. Costing more than a new washer. New washer with agitator, does a better job and should last a long time.

"Front loaders are trash" 😂😂 must have been a bad one you got. Front loaders are much better and more efficient that the top loaders. Had a top loader and I paid too get a decent front loader and its amazing. 1/4 energy and half the water if not less, whites are whiter and it washes everything soo well that my skin has cleared up. Every year it amazes me how much thatch I get up, it's never ending haha.

They don't wash your clothes because they don't use enough water. No agitator equals no scrub. Clothes running against each other is not the same thing as an agitator. They also stink. If you notice everyone with them leaves the door open to increase air flow because they mold and stink
