Unfortunately, my summer job was more overwhelming than I expected, and it's really hard to keep motivated to finish this as I'm not really in contact with the singer anymore. I will try and get it done someday, but I'm not going to put a time on when you should expect to see it. I'm very sorry about that. Thank you for your anticipation though!
This summer, if all goes according to plan! I don't know if it'll take me a few weeks, a month, a couple months. But I haven't been able to work on it because of college. I'll do my best to get it done quickly!
That's a good one to cover in another video. For now, I'll tell you. To import audio, go to File>Import>Import to Library... Select the audio you want to use, then go to your Library tab. Then, on a new layer, drag the audio onto your stage. (The white box in the middle.) And there's a timeline that lets you scrub the audio and set the frames accordingly. But you should always start with the audio when animating. Hope that helped!
Well, I was going to use a Broadway Karkat song, but I didn't want to spoil what song I'm animating. Alternia is a beautiful song that fit with the length of the video.
Ladies and gents, the one who inspired all this. Lip synching is almost impossible to describe in text, so that'll have to be covered in another video. It depends on how fast or slow the character is going. If they're moving quickly, you won't need to draw as many inbetween frames. It also depends on your FPS, or Frames per Second. (I use 30, which means you have to draw a lot of frames to get it to move fluidly) Generally, animators on youtube use the default 24 fps. That can work well too.
I'm not gonna lie, THAT WAS SO COOL (:D okay let's see, how do you do the lip sync? And for every frame, how much of a difference should the next frame look from the previous one to give it fluid movement? Gosh, I feel awkward being the first to ask questions ^^;
App? Umm... Well, I animated it in Flash. It was recorded with Livestream, I animated this in front of a small audience, and then I downloaded it and sped it up later. And I edited the video with Windows Movie Maker.
Oh, I can't wait for this one =D Just one thing, though. What song is this? It's so pretty, and it might have been said, but if it was I most likely forgot.
How did you learn anatomy? Through classes, self taught? I am trying to study pictures of the body and draw them but I don't know if it is the most efficient way to learn to draw the human body, know what I'm sayin'? Got any advice ^u^?
+Emily Hough I'm not sure if this is still relevant given you posted this 6 months ago, but the youtube Sycra has really good videos on (human) anatomy
