Dan. If you use a hair drier then green stuff will get loos and you can pop it off. Also if you put a little petroleum jelly on the ball join then put the green stuff in the head. you can make a good socket that can pop on and off.
looks like it.. you saw the layers the head seems to be based of? thats most of the time a giveaway for 3D printing...aaaaand.. I think 3D printing is the only way to offer this as a comercial service XD
Hmmm thw roughness of it is a big bummer. I was going to order some but its too rough even when you zoom out it still shows. There is another company(forgot the name) who does the same stuff but they sculpt by hand and the heads are really smooth! I think i will order mine there
It would be cool, if you can, that you made another video with more body options :), also, would any of the heads fit in Japanese figures like S.H. Figaurts, D-arts, figma, or revoltech? Thank you!
Pixel Dan, Do you know what kind of putty is used for the non permanent heads. I would like to buy some to put in the joints of a few TMNT figures that i own that hands fall out the sockets. I am talking about the non permanent kind. Thanks!
Pretty darned creepy Dan! Great camera work there showing us those 'lines' you were talking about...maybe part of the sculpting process that'll eventually get worked out? Maybe you should boot-polish your hair though... make yourself look more accurate to the Toy-Dan. Oh and Toy-Dan needs to be involved in your next MOTU review!
that looks awsome and if you like those Disney star wars figures then you should check out the Disney Epic Mickey merchandise they are pretty awsome. keep making these awsome videos :)
My head on a Mortal Kombat figure body might be cool but I don't think those new Jazwares 4 inch ones have heads that come off that easily. I did often think it would be cool to make customized figures of myself as a video game character. I had a few different ideas of how I'd wanna look through Mortal Kombat Armageddon's Kreate-A-Fighter feature.
I must say that this is quite the awesome idea, but the pricing is just plain scary! $50 for a 4 inch scale head? I'd do it for $25, but $50 is just asking too much.
It's not an insult to state that you couldn't do something that was posted in the video "Show more" area. Just don't be lazy and click on the link given. Any time Dan does a custom figure he tends to give you a link for the customizer.
A serial killer could easily capitalize on this new market. All they'd have to do is find said person's pic, send em to the site, and then send the heads to the victim pre-death just to scare the shit out of them XD
"Just don't be lazy and click on the link given." That is a direct quote from you're second comment. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that you told me the price. But, your comment came off as rude in my opinion.
lol NICE!!!! i want a heman motuc with my head sculpted on it... if anyone comes in my room they'll be like WOW.... that heman looks awesome!!! it looks.. wth? its you! lol
Liked and Favorited. Good video. A little off and on topic, I find it odd how much He-Man characters (all the variety of each character) is drawing my interest more and more these days.
Calling someone lazy is an insult. Also, if you think I'm lazy and that I should have just clicked the link, then why even bother telling me the price?
You said “I never used that word." But you did use the word in reference to me. You said "Just don't be lazy and click on the link given." I didn't say that Dan would purposely send me to a site that would be infected with viruses and malware. It's nothing personal against Dan; I don't click on any links in the description. You can call me overcautious but don't call me Lazy. I have never insulted you but you have insulted me in every one of your comments.
I did not call you lazy, and said not clicking a link given is being lazy for anyone. I suppose it is hard for someone to understand. Next time watch the whole review and he will tell you where you can find the link. Usually ":down below" means the section where he gives you the link to his site, and other webpages. Next time I will write to an American in layman terms they can understand. I am sorry for your troubles.
You are being rude and patronizing for no reason at all. And you lied when you said you never used the word "lazy". I simply asked for the price. And if you must know, I don't like to click links in video descriptions because you never know where they might lead. I'm not being lazy I'm being cautious.
Jake Annison Professional sculptors costs hundreds of pounds. Given the shape and likeness are pretty good, the finish is the only drawback, but then again, most likely, you'll only look at it from a distance, which will be absolutely fine.
