Hey short question, what does R1 & R2 refer to? Also, I can only reuse the Transmutagens again once I have fully upgrades the sub-specializations, right?
You realize that there is a circular argument in there. You set the iteration steps to 1 which I guess is the most resonable thing to do here. But I am not sure if you did this with 100% awareness. Basically, MERCURIAL prices are dependent on VOLATILE and vice versa etc.. Which means per iterations these prices go up and up and up. (my setting were set to 100 iterations and I was wondering why I got different results with the very same mat price inputs)
Great guide...I've been doing this myself. Did not know about the DL potion, good looks. Also, the resourcefulness procs that stop the transmuting is an absolute pain.
The thing about this is that it requires almost total commitment to the whole specialization tree in order to be profitable. And doing so, makes filling the crafting orders that feed you KP a bit difficult (because none of the orders require Thaumaturgy). I have 120 points (out of 180 possible) sunk into the tree and I am still running a loss of about 10-15% out of the shuffle. Auction House prices have adjusted since EA, so I can see where it DID work, but no longer does without more KP invested.
@@TheCaptainsRevenge I currently have 156 KP. Approx 40 from First Crafts, 24 from the one-time treasures, 30 from Consortium Quartermaster, 10 from Azj-Kahet (using Kej currency). That leaves 52 points that came from Weekly Quests, looting containers out in the world and filling Patron Orders. Filling the Patron orders has been difficult from two sides (Gold and Concentration) as I sometimes had to tank my concentration while creating materials, then tank it again creating the item for the order. One good thing about going the Transmutation route is that it opens up about a dozen First Craft bonuses… but otherwise, the Spec has been pretty mediocre. I am committed now though, so I will fill out the other 60 points in the tree over the next several weeks and get a better idea of if it was worth it.
I don't think its dead, but we're about to get hit with the enchanting change - shards into dust. For me at least, turning cloth to dust was quite profitable. So might have to change things up a bit soon
@@bobibomeknack1389gleaming shatter got added to enchanting. Converts 1 blue shard into 3 dust if I recall. Prices of dust fell from ~120 to 80 in the Monday/Tuesday leading into Season 1. But prices of the cloth and mycobloom fell as well. When I looked, it was still profitable to thaumaturgy the cloth (and sell the mycobloom rather than recycling it). I imagine we'll see a lot of fluctuations for the next few days as season 1 impacts demand for everything
@@bobibomeknack1389 exactl what the other person commented, they made a change (coming soon TM) where enchanters will shatter blue shards into dust. The price of storm dust is already falling so it changes the shuffle a little
You got all expansion this system isn''t going to stop working just because of the way it functions, and as you get more points in you can do other stuff to make it even more profitable no big, also I imagine Blasphemites are going to go really well this week. The 25 into one of the three, 20 into Gleaming 30 into Transmute is a really good build for building capital too.
Thx for the video. I've been looking for ages for something like that. I almost went the same way spec wise. What would you suggest using the transmute charges on? There are so many 😅
First time crafts for KP, if you've gone through all of them, I haven't personally tested them all thoroughly enough but I did see a spreadsheet which indicated Volatile Stone was by far the best.
crafting speed does not need to be high and should not either if lets say you have house work going on. For me I set it to turn things into other things than walk away to clean up my home because it does not matter if I am watching or not, so 1000 times it cycles each time is 10 seconds so 10k seconds is a lot but its around what I need to do my dishes so I can do 2 seconds so much faster but I need lets say 5k seconds for house work. It was asmond gold who does videos with all kinds of vermin running around because he wants the most out of wow which is a good goal but for health reasons its better not to do that so I dont worry so much about speed
Hi this might be a stupid question. By the way amazing guide! How do I use the sheet? Haha. Copy it I assume so I can edit. And then I’m a bit lost at the instructions.
Where all the 1's are go to the AH get the price of the item, type it in next to their name. Then at the top buy whatever one has the highest number in gold.
Pretty good guide. Wish I seen it before I invested my points into thaumaturgy like 4-5 days back because somehow you just cant fuckin find info about specific wow things...arent there lots of people playing wow anymore or what? was getting costant loss even 4-5 days ago when storm dust prices were like 105~, now I doubt I can profit (maybe with full full investment into stuff you shown but even then profit probably wont be big at all and those kp investments are permanent...)
Can you please make a detailed video about the spread sheet, kinda hard to understand what every box is saying with all the random numbers. You are losing 100g everytime you transmute cloth on eu right now with your napkin math formula.
I just changed the sheet so hopefully a bit easier to follow, all you really have to do is go to the AH get the prices of all the thaumaturgy materials and type them into the box next to their name, add your resourcefulness amount then maybe refresh the sheet so it updates with your values.
Really depends on what you are doing. For example Gemstone Crushing, in order to be able to mass produce R3 only need 50KP, but it requires the skill of all three tools, so in that case you skip the books and get all the tools. But if you were Flask/Potion making, the 200/300 and even 400 KP books offer more skill per Artisans Acuity. It really depends what build you're chasing. For most builds, to get to the mass producing R3 items, you need both this early into the expansion.
When it comes to inputting the resourcefulness into the spreadsheet are we meant to be putting the raw number or the percentage because for me it seems to be off using either of those.
It's not accurate anywas cos it's only registering as 1 item, I don't know how to properly put in chance of yield cos you can get anything from 1-8 back each time Resourcefulness procs. But just put in the number like if you have 20% just type in 20 not the %
Based off roughly how many casts per hour, which with just the potions is ~1100, so 22,000. Will need readjusting if you have the Weaver Buff thats 15% so if Blizz math right you'd need to put in 1265, haven't tested that number yet.
dont get it, so i buy weavercloth, transmute them, transmute the stransmutegen to hopefully receive bismut and dust, to sell it? or do i have to upgrade the qualite form 2 up to 3 and sell that?
On US mycobloom is the one to do right this second out of the ominous not weaver, but yes thats the gist of it. If you have 25 points in all 3, just thaumatise the cheapest of each group and it'll work out.
Wowhead "Ni Gentlepaw" you can take the Jade Forest portal and basically be there. Just train MOP alchemy and you can make it. The stone you want is called "Zen Alchemist Stone" it requires I think 5 Golden Lotus to craft they're on the AH and super cheap. www.wowhead.com/npc=56777/ni-gentlepaw
Nah just through the AH, the snipe bots and baiters are super annoying though, "item no longer available," "item no longer available," "item no longer available." Gets old, try buying things with Auctionator seems to work better.
@@Eyancraft Ya it does indeed. I can't seem to figure this crap out. I am not making money other than making back what I spend. I can't seem to pull ahead. Bots on AH = I think I'll just play another game perhaps. I love WoW but its out of hand anymore. I need a lot more knowledge points I'm sure.
Is it possible to reach r2 mats using r1 mats? that traumaturgy specialization tree is somewhat confusing for me. I tried napkin math and came up with 373/375 if I get everything but not entirely sure. Gleaming transmutagen tree 20 (+5) works for all traumaturgy, right? Also what about transmutation sub tree? it doesnt work for all traumaturgy or does it? and last: I thought that those 3 sub trees for ominous/volatile/mercury traumaturgy will be double dipping? "Increases your Skill in Thaumaturgy and Ominous Transmutations by +1 per point in this specialization." But doesnt seem to give double points no matter what mat I put in (tried them all). So why say "AND ominous transmutations" instead of just increases skill in Thaumaturgy by +1 per point" ? what I am missing?

Honestly bro, just buy one of Gloom Chitin, Stormforged Leather, or the cheapest out of Weavercloth/Mycobloom at the time, and this will 99/100 work out for you assuming a full kp tree.
He did the artisan acuity shuffle most likely. Unfortunately, it was nerfed recently to prevent people from shuffling and being 2 months ahead of everyone else.
I haven't, I have all KP books from Lyrendal in Dornogal, I have 12 Renown with Dorn which is another +10, and I've bought the KEJ book in City of Threads for another 10.
He likely did the profession shuffle before to get way more acuity than he should have access too so he could buy all the books and get 2 blue profession equipment
The quickest is Mists of Pandaria, think you only need like 5 Golden Lotus, the trainer is in Dread Wastes named "Poisoncrafter Kil'zit." Just Wowhead that name and you'll find him.
If you have all three of Volatile/Ominous/Mercurial filled, try the spreadsheet in the description and put price in manually. Not going to guarantee the accuracy of the sheet cos Thauma is math on math on math, but I think its close enough that its serviceable, hasn't gone wrong for me yet. I've also lowballed all the % in it so it's hopefully closer to the unlucky bad rng runs than the average or good, so if it says profit it should be the numbers are deflated intentionally. Put your own resourcefulness in it too, defaulted to mine currently I should probably remove that.
I just used (Material Cost x Your Resource in decimal value.) But that is just 1 Material where as you are using 20, for accurate you'll need a average yield which I haven't jotted down, then yeah you're right x amount of casts per hour
