Today as we wrap up our first week of February Love Honoring the host as we wrap up our Jim Lange these as a Chance at $1,000,000 on The $1,000,000 Chance Of The Lifetime and it's the 2nd Season of The Show.
I remember watching this when I was 4. This would be aired on KYW-TV 3 at 12:30pm from May 5, 1986 - September 11, 1987 before being replaced with Wink Martindale version of High Rollers
@@PREGO1966 I realize that’s what it is, it’s just that something about this piece kinda reminds me of The All-New Let’s Make a Deal, especially the beginning part.
KYW Philly in da house :) They aired this instead at 12:30PM EST and didn't pick up Search for TOmorrow as of 4/4/83(aired Card Sharks Perry reruns in 1983-84, Jeopardy! in 1984.85, All New LMAD from 9/16/85-5/2/86, and started airing Chance of a Lifetime of 5/5/1986), and didn't pick up Wordplay either. THis was replaced on 9/14/1987 with High Rollers Wink. This episode is the second season premiere, airing either on 9/8 or 9/15/1986, as per CHuck Donegan
I was a regular viewer of the entire series, audiotaping all of the bonus rounds which i still have, and I didn't remember that the sliding stage doors used for the second season closed for the main game and re-opened going into commercials.
Karen "Marie" Thomas was contestant 3rd Season Star Search 1985-1986 won 5X times. Then became semifinalist & making it all the way to grand finals February 1986. She went on be co-host with Jim Lange 2nd Season $1,000,000 million dollar chance of lifetime September 1986 thru September 1987.
@@karennicholson On the one hand, you were a lot more vocal than Vanna and Lorimar-Telepictures did give you a big role. On the other hand, you did take some responsibilities away from Johnny Gilbert. I don't think he minded too much, though.
The opening few beats maybe my friend, but when you get the main part of the theme music, I don't see it. I never compare just opening beats. I wait til the actual theme starts to look for similarities.
Let me see if I understand something-the winning couple in this episode won $1250 in the main game. They gave back the $5000. If they lose the next game all they get is the $1250 from the show before, right? I was 8 and 9 years old when this exciting show was on tv!
