OK I love the idea of these kinds of apartments, but it really pisses me off when they're that expensive. What is the F*ing point in an apartment that small being that expensive? Most people live in small spaces because they don't have that kind of money.
Nathan W No, not if you did it yourself. Although this guy has used stuff from resource furniture, which is a really cool, but incredibly expensive, company, so that's probably where a lot of the money went. Plus the location. If it's in Manhattan 90% of that price will be based purely on location.

It's great apartment - a lot of extraordinary possibilities (like this second bed, moving wall or table) and great way to use whole space but 1 million dollars? Nope. This isn't the kind of apartment which you buy if you have 1 million dollars.

Where I live, half a million dollars is enough to build a full lake front property mansion with anything you could ever want, and then an extra 500k left.

I actually got some ideas from this. my husband and I live in 440 sq ft. my son will be coming home at the end of the year and we will have to re arrange to make this a good fit. I will be saving this to get ideas into play! oh I pay just over $6,000 a year to rent.
Good, smart design but not worth it. The ones that actually need that type of space don't earn enough to have that apartment. If you have a million bucks, it's better to invest it some place better, like an actual house. You don't have to spend as much plus you have more money left to invest on other assets.
Guys, the reason why these are so expensive is because in places such as Manhattan, New York and Hong Kong, 400 sq. ft. of an apartment is just as expensive, if not more... What I mean is that a 800 sq. ft. apartment would be MORE than 2m USD, no joke..! Just look at the apartments for sale at those locations!

I hate it when all these ignorant people keep saying that the house is too expensive. A average house in manhattan cost much more than this and doesn't even look as good. This is economic because it allows you to use the best of the Space you have. This isn't your rural nowhere town, this is Manhattan.
