I've filmed this exact car in Switzerland, Germany, the UK and now in the USA too! This time around though, let's jump on board for an exclusive opportunity to experience what the world's first 4 seat megacar is like on the move. Is this the ultimate hyper-GT?
It's a great dealership and just a generally great area to be in. I've been there a couple times myself and it's always a joy to see all of the cars on display. Thanks for giving Tim the opportunity to show us these two Koenigseggs in detail.
@@z1z3love no that was his first girlfriend.....not puppi...puppi first video was the drop top 720s launch at MTC.....the same time they saw the Senna.
Awesome video as always but the biggest surprise Puppi150! With her making her first real appearance. I do believe it is time for that travel show Shmee & Puppi cover the world. All the places you've been together and places you stayed I know you both have lots of stories.
That's because he's made a point of keeping her private for so long on his youtube channel, even though we know she has her own instagram... And it helps us sort of connect with him,on a personal level...
@@tunes4life I understand what you are saying. I felt the same way. All this while we only spotter her in the background of the videos. There was even a hashtag for it - #puppispotting. So I know how it feels to finally see her in a video.
I agree, the Koenigsegg Tiny Friendly Giant is an engineering masterpiece; a twin turbo free-valve 2.0L 3-cylinder engine developing 600hp. I look forward to hearing this engine in the Gemera, but I am more so hoping to see it applied to an ultra-lightweight two seat sports car (Lotus?).
Boy, that car doesn’t even have a real ICE in it! This prototype’s probably got just a forged aluminum prop in there. I think it also likely has an industrial 10hp electric motor, or something, for moving it off trucks, into showrooms, and back onto trucks. It’s a design and ergonomics demonstrator. But yeah, lol, I can’t wait to hear it either.
Not sure a 3 million dollar 1700 hp Hypercar is revolutionary..the richest of the rich can find out maybe and i wonder if it’s a plug in to charge all those batteries which kinda defeats the green motivation of making it
@@totallyintoit they don't care that normal people think that the prototype is loud. They know the people that are actually going to buy it, are smart enough to know the difference between pre production and final version.
WHY is there still no test drive of this car? WHY only one review? Bugatti is more expensive, but there are already a lot of reviews with it, why not with this car? Is it not real?
The Gemera has got to be the most unique amazing car offered right now! So sad we couldn’t see it moving. I mean, actually moving. Not too exciting in the parking lot doing 3mph but I get it. Can’t risk crashing a 1 off like that. But even just seeing it up close is so awesome!!!Shmee, I as always, am jealous of what you get to do. Lol
Is it strange of me that I named my cat Jesko? People just don't get the name and can't say it properly haha! If I had the means I'd definitely have a Koenigsegg in my garage! Always loved them!!
When the Toyota GR Supra and the Porsche Taycan have a baby, this is the end result with far more horsepower than the two combined. And not to mention it’s a four seater so the whole gang can have a ride on it.
Amazing car and technology and I’m really proud to be Swedish! 🇸🇪 But is it a demand as a Koenigseggs employee that you have the same hairdresser as Christian von Koeniggsegg? 😂 💇
Incredible automobiles. The Gemera's proportions look great - not what you would think a four-seater GT should look like. Very cool design, and awesome tech. Thanks Shmee!
Bummer. Was hoping at last to see how this 1,700 hp beast accelerates. Went for a stroll around the parking lot instead. But that's all that can be done with this prototype.
Been following you for about 8 years now and your videos are so good that it still keeps me watching after those years. Just as a said before, you deserve everything you achieved 🙏🏻
Everyone says that electric cars are inevitable, necessary even. Where as I think we should throw turbos and battery propulsion in the garbage for now, and go back to making naturally aspirated *LIGHTER* cars. (Koenigsegg is an exception in a lotta ways to what I'm saying, it's just something I wanted to get off my chest lol). The thing that bugs me is yes, electric is the only way to keep getting better mpg and make more power every year, but I wish we could all just say stop, we actually don't neeed a million horsepower in everything no matter what. 1000bhp on a twisty backroad is actually slower and less rewarding than a focus rs, an old alfa with 100bhp, a scoobaru brz even. I mean, a 250mph top speed and 325 section tires don't do *anything* for 95% of driving us enthusiasts do, even on track. All I'm saying is, imagine if the new....idk, Porsche 911 was smaller and manual and had a 3.0 liter. I mean Singer gets a million bucks for things like that lol, we want those things. Except all these decades later, imagine how much more hp *and* MPG Porsche could get out of a platform like that. Paradoxically, I think a way around the "unavoidable" advent of 100% electric cars from every company and the death of the internal combustion engine, could be the things I've suggested. We can move forward technologically, we can be greener, we can keep the beautiful magical engine, and make cars that would actually be better to drive, if we shrunk them, made em lighter, made the tech a bit less complicated, and went to lower horsepower numbers. We wouldn't be forced to accept these abominations that we keep being told there's no way around - __ -
For some reason, I appreciate the Absolute's name. I'm also loving those dragon finns at the back. Can't these guys make one for Plebs such as me? I'll settle for a 2 seater, with dragon finns and a nice stripe of glass down the middle with a evil face. Give it about 400HP, AWD, an active suspension, and have Toyota build it.
Is this Gemera a practical and usable sedan? I think anyone that spends this amount of money will want the maximum amount of performance and handling. That probably doesn't include seats for 3 of your friends. A proper luxury performance sedan is probably a MB S class, a Bentley or Rolls.
That sound is annoying.. 0 excitement this is the future of supercars who's gonna watch videos about this stupid idea about EV .. u could have kept the same engine technology using hydrogen.instead. and keep thosr magic sounds that V8 s V 10 s and V 12 s have mean ..give me a break.
A 1000hp to the front wheels... huh. I would have liked to have been in the board room when someone suggested that... lol. Ahh after actually watching that... now things make sense... I bet that car couldn't go more than 20 mph... it's just enough to wheel it around and get it onto platforms. Right now the poor dolts back home are killing themselves trying to get all that tech and wack ass powertrain to work together... poor dudes.
Really a small taste of it.. would have been great to have a proper driving/driven experience with some accelerations. Personally Koenigsegg is not my cup of tea, but I reckon it’s a car.
It seems that those scisor doors pop out quite a bit. How does it fare in tight parking spaces? For example a shopping mall in Singapore. Not asking because I can afford it, just curious.
I seen the drivers fingers hit the screen attached to steering wheel. Could be annoying? Wish you would have fired it up, would like to hear the engine sound. We really need to see all these mega cars on the same track, same day, same driver, same tires and see who is the king. Koenigsegg, McLaren, Ferrari, Pagani, Bugatti etc.
