dave and bambi is honestly a hit or miss when it comes to mods: when it's good, you know it, but when it's bad, OH BOY, YOU'LL DEFINITELY KNOW when it's bad

the fact that the drawing: 😃 but the song: 💀 just triggers me

Silly before the mod: hey, this doesn’t seem too bad! Silly after the mod: Well, that escalated quickly

this mod is just a reminder that not all the people in the FNF modding community are good and talented + i don't really think that this is the WORST Dave and Bambi mod, it has potential, the 2d art was pretty good but the animation needs some work and the first songs, oh god, they didn't even respect a key they just pick 5 or 6 random notes and made a songs with it, but still, the other songs were pretty good.

What I feel that most of the d&b community does is mainly focus on bambi with his awful vocals and dry out lazy 3d models spam charting. I do like the variety of this mod and the 2d art is good but the songs are absolutely awful. Dave's bit in duo duel is decent but his own song is atrocious, same with Tristan's song, if you're gonna have variety in a mod, then at least make the songs good there is so much more opportunities for good songs, mechanics and models with Dave and tristan but nobody seems to do anything related to them much. And holy crap, how do you mess up bf's vocals that bad?!

the art is really good but the music can feel very off at times, and even then, all of the good aspects kind of overshadow the bad aspects plus im certain that they'll have a new composer soon and the mod will be even better

whoever made the music took the bambi joke part too seriously while i’m not very familiar with dave and bambi and the community around it, i’ve heard every time i said the mapping for the mods was awful that the mods were a joke. and even though those mods were a joke the music had at least a tiny bit of effort behind it. this one was just opening fl studio, repeating the same shitty loop in the background and spamming random notes for each character, not even trying to fit with the key of the pad in the background (and i don’t know what happened in the last song where bf’s voice becomes the most annoying sound to ever exist???). the music completely killed the mod. the 2d animations weren’t even that bad and the mapping had very little flaws but was overall not too bad. another thing other than the awful music is that during 3d sprites scenes, the developers didn’t even bother on making gf 3d as well. in my opinion a 2d sprite on a 3d space around 3d characters just doesn’t fit at all (+ gf floating in mid air in a fixed position in a place with no ground). if this is a mod that was done by a group of friends that didn’t have that much experience and just wanted to do yet another unfunny bambi mod i’d understand and from what i’ve seen the lns on the engine still haven’t been fixed (missing the entire ln gives you 30 misses and a huge accuracy drop for no reason) i also love how the engine created new names for fcs and such (what in the world is a “sfc”???)

I can confirm this is indeed a crappy mod. Not even sure if anyone put any effort into this, but the ONLY thing I like about this mod are the sprites. Everything else could be better. Edit: Realized the 3D Boyfriend sprite is stolen. This makes the mod shittier. (3D sprites can be animated better, plus use their own 3D Boyfriend sprite if they even could. 2D sprites on the other hand, I like em. They're at least fine for the mod.)

overall this mod is pretty good but daves voclas kinda sound like the dark lord from alan becker fnf vs animation mod. but tbh corn my fav but yea I think Dave's vocals should be a little bit deeper and less loud.

The sprites are good and same goes for *some* songs, but could definitely use an improvement for music (no offense to the composer)

Literally the only good/decent stuff in this (imho) has to be the art for the “D&B week”, and only some of the songs

this mod is an insame don't laugh challenge lmao. Some songs are ''decent'' but most of it was real bad, there is a lot of potential with some melodies used in some songs like the 1st gamers week song or that one dave part on the 8 minute song that made you laugh . Also talking about sprites, 2d sprites were good, 3d were ok, nothing more to point out. But overall, this was a really funny video, i couldn't stop laughing xd, i needed to calm myself down to organize my ideas on this mod and yet i was still kinda laughing remembering parts of the video lmao. 3.5/10
