Holy crap my timing in thinking "wow I really would use my old opinel every day if I had a clip" couldn't have been better! I'm absolutely backing this. How has nobody else thought to make a clip collar for these. You're close to your goal - are you still planning on following through with backers who order one, even if you don't quite make your goal?

Are you still making these even though it was not backed on kickstarter? I would try sending samples to youtubers to get more coverage. I haven’t bought an opinel for this reason, but with your pocket clip i’d love both products

Désolé, mais payer 34 $ avec frais d' envoi pour un couteau vendu en France à 10 ou 11 €.....D' autant que cela rompt avec le concept de ce couteau qui est léger et plus fait pour être dans une poche de veste que dans la poche révolver du pantalon d' où éviter de s' asseoir avec ce "truc" dans la poche....😕
Excellente idée, je suis français et un utilisateur inconditionnel de l'Opinel. Je vais suivre votre travail avec le plus grand intérêt. 👍 Contactez Opinel France, vous avez là une option que beaucoup d'utilisateurs aimerait avoir. Et surtout, cela ne dénature pas la ligne du couteau. Seul problème, le clip coûte plus cher que le couteau.
Although I consider your innovation ( you did not invent the knife clip ) useful and good looking , I can make my own clip screwed to the wood part of the handle , nice try anyway .
IMO it is wrong projected. Clip must be integral, one stamped piece with virolock. not mounted on it. manufacturer virolock must go. because also opinel itself is wrong. The real pain in the ass is that virolock is slippery and has no real grabbing/turning points, and its conicity goes toward the blade instead providing some little Guard to the hand. You Know French ingenuity...
That's stupid because it'll just ruin the grip you get on the knife and if this is truly the world's most recognised knife how come I never knew about it till a couple of years ago where as the Swiss army knife I've known of since childhood
WHY?!? What's "wrong" with carrying loose in the pocket or in a belt sheath, like the last four or five generation have? WHY try to make it "tactical"?!?👎
Well this awnser comes a bit late, but i think a clip (not that one) would be a nice thing, i had my last one for quite some time but i lost it hiking because my pockets where to loose snd so I think a clip might actually be quiet nice!😅
Looks uncomfortable as hell. Who needs that? Its the same as this new victorinox clip. Ugly and not needed. Another parasitic "invention" hoping to hop on a traditional and well aged product.
