The only unit I'm really worried about is Laika, because as she is she was perfectly fine and usable for me, so as long as they don't completely change her kit to something different (when have I seen THAT before...) I'm okay. It'll also be fun to see what they do to Hwayoung (Are they gonna make her usable again in her niche? or change her completely?) and Elena, who's hardly use at all
With hwayoung I doubt they’ll give her something “new”. They’ll just be reverting one of the million nerfs they gave her. As for laika, I hope they buff her S2 instead of her S3. If her S3 gets better at control then laika becomes an obnoxious RNG unit and will encourage other players to build speed builds instead of trying to draft smart around her.
She’s strong, not blatantly broken. The issue is imo that units that counter her the most are ML5. And your average player doesn’t have more than 5 ML5 max in their first year.
@@foreverlife797 It all depends on your draft. If they are picking her in the 5th slot, it means your draft is probably weak to her so she will look good. Just like spec tenbrai looks good in the enemy doesn't have any reach.
She dies in most of the fights in 2 hits or gets debuffed to hell before even using her S3 and there is a number of extinction units also. She needs better protection, like MGLilas takes 3 hits not 2 to kill. I see the way to buff such a strong unit is a purpose to make her top tier RTA pick. Now it's hard to pick Spirit Eye Celine in RTA, same situation with Tomoca.
Happy new year. Im just scared of them nerfing something in the guise of calling it a buff. Ice Tywin for example, we abstained opinions thinking “we will see” and he’s become useless in PVE, useless to new players if they pull him early (he simplified episode 3 because his def breaks first wave and attack buffs on the second buff) and now post rework, he’s mediocre even against the units he supposed to be good against. Yeah… we are never going to see the revert anytime soon if we will see it at all.
