Out of curiosity, where did you get the "threads" concept? I'm thinking it must be a Savage Worlds game mechanic and I definitely like it, but I did an internet search for it and have come up negative. Thanks!

I've always had a little problem watching big group D&D games personally, in that there's always just too much going on and it usually ends up giving me the sensation of "feeling left out of the friend group", but this series has allowed me to be a lot more immersed and feel like I'm actually a part of something, that I'm really involved with the story even if I'm only just watching. Great stuff, honestly.

My problem with group RPGs on RU-vid is they drag on for hours without any real action. Solo seems much more focused.

Man, doubling back to this first episode - it really shows the beauty of solo play that this whole thing could've gone a COMPLETELY different direction had Simon simply tried the social approach to free Vilborg! A totally different season, right there.

I like what you said about logic and interpretation obviating the need for the emulator. I think the minis actually helped in this case as well as they allow you to better visualize the flow of the action. I've never used minis in my solo play, but I think I may start. Thanks for teaching me something!

Absolutely awesome! I have watched other solo rpg videos and the people doing them have always filmed the entire thing with the camera pointed at the table. Doing it with the camera pointed at the player is so much more engaging with being able to see the player's reactions and facial expressions to what is going on. Really enjoyable!

None of us, including Trevor, had any idea where this would all end up. Thanks for doing this Trevor! The production quality and you’re hosting abilities are exceptional. I could see that you really do enjoy a Gaming. Wordmill, the people who put out Mythic, released a set of cards based on their GM emulator books. I have all the books and I’m a big fan. I also have the GM emulator deck of cards. I have had some fun with them but I would love to see someone with your enthusiasm and imagination give them a shot in a video. I want to suggest that you get a deck and play a session with it. I can’t seem to find any videos with anybody who is psyched about soloing doing a good demonstration. I think you would rock at it. Really great videos and even the name of your channel is excellent. Your production work and talents And zooming enthusiasm brings Gaming and videos Such as these to a higher level. Well done

I’ve been with you from the beginning and decided to go back to the beginning and watch the first episode again after three series. It’s interesting to see how you have improved technically over the years and added extra equipment. Even so this is a great watch and demonstrates the tools admirably.
