Dr.Berg, I have almost watched all of your videos it’s been 2 years since I started watching them. I am 31 years old. This year is the first year since my 17 birthday that I have no seasonal allergies. I did quercetin last year with Vit.C. This year, I have no allergies even thought pollen is « EVERYWHERE » in quebec. I read from somewhere that Olive oil increases DAO enzyme production by 500% and I started to eat L of it with arugula and other vege&meat. I also introduced I.F. Lost my bloating and migraines, mood swings. Everything is back to when I was a kid!👍💛 Thank you Eric Berg!
Wow. After years of allergies, this year being the worst , itchy eyes clogged up couldn’t even sleep- I started quercetin and it has given me so much relief. After years of antihistamines that did nothing but make pharma more rich. I can vouch for this and I’m very pleased.
How many tablets you took in a day and what’s the weight (mg) of it . I need help on it because my allergy has got worst and no antihistamine is working .
My wife was coughing and wheezing one night from allergies and remembered this video so I had her take 500mg of quercitn and within a 15 minutes, the allergies stopped! That immediate result was insane!! 🤙🏽💯
Dr. Berg...the most handsome, compassionate, knowledgeable Dr. on youtube with a hint of psychic ability! Woke up this morning with a pounding face and started sneezing. Opened RU-vid and this is the first video I see. Thanks Doc!
Tried everything Dr. Berg talks about here and in other videos - nothing worked to help with my sudden seasonal allergy that appeared out of nowhere and came to stay for six months every year. During my third allergy season I tried taking celery juice daily, and IT WORKED! It dramatically reduced my symptoms, and often times I didn't have any at all. Sharing this information in hope that it might be helpful to somebody.
I will definitely try celery juice on top of Dr Berg’s recommendations. Celery is my go to snack on keto. Along with some peanut butter and it’s dessert. Lol Spring is such a beautiful time of year but these allergies make it miserable. 😩 TY for sharing.
I try celery juice 1 glass daily in the morning first day I get diarrhea them was ok but I didn't see any difference after that. But I hope what you said help other too.
My congested sinuses and allergies are much improved with piperine (an alkaloid of black pepper). You can get piperine capsules, but it is usually combined with turmeric to enhance absorption. Give it a try, it really helps.
I started using Quercetin after having Covid. I was experiencing inflammation and hearing loss related to inflammation in my sinuses. After 1 day, my hearing was restored and my brain fog started to lift. It’s a miracle in my book 👍🏻
Wish it was for more people. My son has a genetic condition that has issues with histamine and Quercetin didn't do anything for it. (To be fair, Zyrtec barely touches it either)
OMG! This sounds like what I am experiencing. I will try it. Been dealing with issues like this since January it's is so frustrating. Thanks for your comment. Let's see if it helps me.
I found success with 1,000 mg of quercetin in one dose and that covers my severe allergy issues for at least 24 hours. I've been been doing this for about a decade. Research 2000 mg for further benefits. FYI, I would avoid the bromelain if you have or suspect you have an autoimmune condition! You'll likely be in a lot of pain. I hope this helps someone.💓💓💓
not sure if its just coincidence but I've been taking antihistamine Loratadine. Symptoms are still continuously worst so i was back with my Vit D3 and zinc and garlic that i used to take when i had covid. after 2 days of taking them i had zero symptoms for allergy.. i swear these supplements helped me.
I have been taking Quercetin, zinc and vitamin D as part of my vit./Mineral cocktail to build my immune system. I didn’t know I could take them several times a day when needed for itching and sneezing! Thank you for this information!
What works for me is 1,000 mg of quercetin at one time and that covers my allergy issues for at least 24 hours. I've been doing it so long that it can be prolonged relief over 24hrs.
@@michellea9857 hello michelle, based off of all the information and research studies that I've read, I haven't come across any information referencing any negative effects from long-term supplementation of quercetin.. Additionally, quercetin is found naturally in food such as apple skins, onions and mushrooms, so I believe we'll be safe. I usually take 2,000 mg a day, one thousand for my allergies and another thousand for other health benefits. There's plenty of research studies for you to research. I hope this helps.💓
Omg my precious Dr Berg!!!! Your advice is always so timely!!! My asthma is horrible right now! I just can’t breathe! You are a priceless jewel to me! 🙌🏼🙏 Blessings!!!! I’m buying Quercetin today!
Thank you for sharing this video, Dr Berg My mom reacts to almost everything she eats. . She gets hives and itching all over her body, face and underneath her feet. I been looking for this for sometime now and I'm glad I found it. The antihistamines she gets from her doctor aren't helping much. From South Africa
Amino acid tyrosine is also a natural antihistamine that is amazing. I have used for years and stops allergy attack quickly. It also helps thyroid, which is how I discovered it helps allergies too.
@Sams576 I have used both L tyrosine and N Aceytl L tyrosine and both have been great. Bulk supplements c om has them. Bromelain will also help for issues where throat gets tight swollen. Folic acid can be added to regimen as well. And b complex with vit c. I did all this to help me with cat allergies
Dr Berg has this knack of putting videos out when you really need them related to whatever topic. Always impressed with his knowledge and he tells the truth. Thanks Doctor.
Thank you so much for this video I get really bad Hay fever and none the over the counter meds were helping I just bout what you suggested in the video and the very first tablet has made a difference I can breath easily my eyes aren't itching like I want to rip them out. Honestly I can't thank you enough.
Dr. Berg thank you for your dedication to help people get healthy. I watch your videos daily. I’m having a horrible time with allergies this month. I live in birmingham, Alabama so its expected, but I’ve never really had allergies before now. I’m enjoying your videos and learning a lot.
Hello. Sorry to hear about your allergies. Sharing some videos that may help you: www.youtube.com/@DrEricBergDC/search?query=allergy -Dr. Berg's Support Team
I've been prescribed allergy meds by my doctor and they left me feeling oddly depressed..? Thanks for the added insight and alternative treatment option.
Recently found that chocolate is actually great for getting rid of sneezing and a running nose from allergies. Within 5 minutes I'm cleared up. I recommend you give it a try. It's backed by studies as well I've found.
Cacoa bean/seed is fermented which means aging. That causes mast cells to react causing histamine production. Cacoa is one of the foods to avoid if one has histamine intolerance. You were lucky! I’m pleased you gained relief. I hope it continues. 😊
Thank you Eric...very much appreciated!!! After my 2nd birthday you know what they give(jab) you...a couple months after I developed bad bronchial asthma, and was admitted to hospital for over 2 months I was in an oxygen tent, and for ever been on Ventolin, Symbiotic. Good times going through life being choked 24/7/365 for over 50 year.
Thank you Dr. Berg! I've been waiting for this video for so long. I've all of those symptoms - except photo sensivity. Eating simple things such as eggs, spinach, seafood or sitting in the sun, drinking alcohol / mixed drinks with high level of tannin are a no no. My life is miserable!
I get Nettle tincture from Red Moon Herbs in NC They are online. I also make Nettle tea from the leaves. I get Frontier brand online or check your local Health food store. Mine has both. For stuffy nose and lungs. Fout drops Oregano Oil. by mouth Plus put a drop of Eycalyptus oil on edge of each nostril. Works LOL
So this is how it works: I tell my Christian neighbor about a problem. He says he'll pray for me and the very next day Dr. Berg tells me I need to take Quercetin and Bromelain .True story .
My mothers nose always runs during breakfast. The other day the eggs were running late, and so I gave her the first part of her meal; vegetables/avocado + squeezed lemon w/ turmeric and black pepper. Well guess what ? Her nose didn't run, She didn't get her handkerchief out, she didn't sneeze. About 20 minutes after she finished eating the first course, I served her 3 eggs. Immediately her nose started running. Not sure if allergic reaction to eggs all these years has/will cause(d) any long term damage. But upon informing her of her egg allergy she immediately quipped "I'm not quitting eggs".
Then suffer the ill effects of the allergy to them then. Sorry but I hate the stupid attitude. It's okay to be sad and a little resistant and mournful of getting rid of it making changes with favorite foods but to outright say "no!" like a spoiled immature irresponsible child is such a bizarre behavior to witness in grown a&& adults. Okay, rant being semi over with here, she might consider: 1) experimenting with different eggs, 2) experimenting with substitutes that she WOULD enjoy instead of eggs. 3) cutting back on eggs or a mix of all of these. Try finding the healthiest organic free range eggs in your grocer or local area / farmers markets. Find out how they're raised and what they're fed, maybe research what is fed to chickens that oeosyce eggs people have the least allergies to, etc. 2) vegans are wizards at cresting often delicious plant based substitutes for animals foods. You can buy (and even make yourself) a pantry stable egg substitute mix made from garbanzo beans but that might be keto or non allergic either. Mixed with paprika and nutty cheesy nutritional yeast or "nooch", these can be good. 3) google / research what to eat instead of eggs. 4) how are you preparing them? With organic olive oil and organic butter in a seasoned (made to be nonstick) cast iron or ceramic nonstick pan or in a or vegetable oil and Pam in a teflon skillet?, Etc.
Good to know, thanks! I suffer from A LOT of Allergies, chemical sensitivities, etc after a series of health issues related to ticks, Epstein Barr virus, Bats & rodent faeces and thanks to you I now learned my Adrenal Insufficiency could be caused by my own Immune response to allergies. Something my Endocrinologist seems to not know.
Quercetin works, especially on rashes, but people need to be aware of "other ingredients",which some might be toxic.Same with nettles (freeze dried seem to be the one recommended).
I use daily vaseline By applying to my nostrils and my lips Several times during the day I carry around with me a small tin of vaseline It does work for me I used to be very badly affected by pollen Not anymore Thank God
Been taking Quercetin for past 2 years (break in the winter) and it has dramatically eased my Hayfever symptoms. It used to be unbearable being out and about in the Summer but most days now it's manageable. Solgar Quercetin is highly recommended.
Hey doc thank you for this great information.. truly amazed at the wealth of knowledge that you have. Can you please make a video on food allergies and anaphylaxis?
The best is "Sinulan" produced in Bulgaria only of herbs and vitamins, I used it 2 times it helps within 2 days. Also for strong problems with the sinus helps without problem forever
After getting cured, take Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus is God and Creator of the Universe. He is the Only solution to this human race.
Thank you Dr Berg I was desperately searching for this type of remedy . This answers a question which I was asking myself. Sounds as though you have a cold .
Don’t you need to worry about taking too much vitamin D a day? 20,000 IU seems like too much. It’s fat soluble and I read that 6000 IU is the upper limit but I might be missing something.
I think it depends on your levels. If you have a deficit like me (my level was almost nonexistent), I think you can take as much as that until everything is replete. It's only if your levels are fine that taking too much could lead to kidney stones or other conditions in the body. Best to get your level checked first.
Thank you Dr berg ...helpful tips thanks...Dr.will never tell me about this .... when I go to gp no explanation....I find your channel tremenduslyhelpul
Curious my quiz results showed me as a Thyroid body type. I had a total thyroid gland removal in 1996 due to multi nodular goitre. Some residual tissue was retained, grew back and was producing toxic thyroid hormone so I had it and some cysts that had grown removed in 2013. After both surgeries I was warned to avoid excessive iodine as it can impact TRT. I have had chronic sinus and allergic rhinitis since I was 3 and had my tonsils removed I also get the occasional migraine from histamine build up. This video I’m hoping gives me some great info
I have no thyroid now for 20 years Started taking a shot of apple cider vinegar with lemon juice every morning and my sinuses are gone. Takes a week but if you can take the ACV with a full glass of room temp water you'll love the results
@@lorenamcgovern it was residual thyroid tissue not a full gland that grew back with cysts and that tissue was producing it’s own hormone and endocrinologist described it as toxic because it was causing cysts. I also had a sistrunk procedure and during the excision of the hyoid the found a large cyst behind it.
I been chewing AJWAIN seeds (indian herb/spice) for the last 10 years. Best to boil it in water in a pan, let it cool down , drink the water and chew the seeds. I used to have bad wheezing , sneezing itchy eyes etc. BUT NO MORE :-)
I was recently put on IgE antagonist. I had horrific allergies, asthma and urticaria from birth (so it's not my diet). No allergies at all now. I think its more preferable than blanket histamine blockade and steroids (local or systemic) or trying to eat very tight diets (it goes beyond healthy eating when foods themselves trip you). These will in time become specific to certain IgE and be more freely available but as long as you have good hygiene I have not found issues. I also have zero side effects. Just a sore belly where I inject them for a few seconds. I know Dr. Eric is all about diet and nutrition but we still need cold hard science too when allergies like mine get extreme.
I bought quite a bit of Quercetin to stay healthy. However, I later learned that Quercetin lowers thyroid function. The data is on Pub Med. Resveratrol also does that as well.
