JT is going to be a beast once again. People seem to forget that he was the consensus #1 pick just a couple of years ago. If anyone believes he was really hurt to start last season, they're not paying attention. His delay to starting the season was more about contract than anything else. If Anthony Richardson can stay healthy, it should only open things up more for JT. BTW, he catches passes better than people give him credit for.
@@astrahl You shouldn't just parrot what the "experts" are saying, especially those in FPPR leagues. Sure, WR's are usually going ahead of RB's but there are a few RB's that are still studs and they will give you plenty of fantasy points, Jonathan Taylor is one of them. JT is only 25 years old and is on a great offense with no competition for touches. He rushed for over 1800 yards in 2021 and he has a QB that is going to draw the attention of the defense. JT is going to be similar to what he was in 2021, only he'll catch more passes.
@@astrahlI’ve been playing for 30+ years, back when we had to use newspaper box scores. RBs can go long term if the system allows for it. The problem is that modern era offenses rarely allow for a bell-cow. I’m not high on JT either, but I get it. Full offseason, no contract drama…I can see him being solid in the mid to late 2nd/early 3rd.
In ur guys opinion.. how would u draft in a 8 team league with 2QB superflex league? Who should I draft with my first 4 picks? It’s a 2 QB league with only 8 players.
@@NMxCrazySkills I’m not sure how those drafts go, but in redraft you are still finding starting WRs in the 8th and on like who ever is starting for the Panthers or Bills… even Josh Palmer is going un drafted sometimes You are only finding back ups or guys splitting time at RB in those rounds
@@christianlynch7914 100%. I play in a (redraft- can keep up to a 2 players- none from 1st or 2nd round in previous years draft) 1QB, 2RB, 3WR 1TE, 1FLX, 5 Bench (2IR). 12 team .5ppr. WR is extra important in my league.
@@sloandogmillionairex00 no but, I’m betting on Hollywood blowing up the scene with that high powered offense. I think he’ll get more manufactured touches and will be a bigger threat downfield with his speed and route running ability versus Rice
Yeah dude, I like him either way. He's played amazing in splits without Kirk and Darnold can do one thing and that's get the ball down the field he has a cannon and has thrown for 400+ yards multiple times in the NFL that shows he has the talent to produce a high powered offense just maybe not win games. JJ is a steal at pick 4 or 5 and later
@@rgfreese very nice! In mocks at that spot I’m getting those 2 dudes. Sometimes Garrett Wilson mixed in. I like Wilson this year too with a healthy Rodgers
This video helped me out alot!! This is my first year doing fantasy football, and I'm taking over another person's team from last year, I decided to keep Jalen hurts in the 7th, and drake london in the 8th last week. Now I know what the rest of my draft should look like. Thanks!!
No its not😂. O line is better but Rodgers coming back much older off achilles plus Hall has his own injury history. Not what I want with my 2nd pick. CD for me!
Sal this is by far one of the best videos I’ve seen on RU-vid for draft advice. Mainly the tips to pivot when the draft is actually going and you’re on the clock are absolute gold brother. Keep up the good work.
Jumping on jalen and London is not good draft advice and telling someone these are the guys I’d pick because I’ve done 100 drafts and still obviously don’t know where anybody is gonna end up is kinda ludicrous. You wanna win your draft don’t over invest in a position that is easily streamable via qb/te and hit that wire weekly and don’t be afraid to make trades.
Best strategy is to take a reliable rb and wr 1st n 2nd rd, value rb on 3rd rd and an anchor qb 4th. Rb quality falls off hard right after 3rd rd, so u want that 2nd rb before 4th rd. U can find plenty of wr on 5th 6th rd before getting te on the 7th.
Do you use draft software? I've used Fantasy Pros for years but looking for something better. This year I am even considering just using their ADP during draft.
I mean if we’re talking underdog, this team has little upside when you take multiple RBs in the same backfield. Also taking 3 patriots you should’ve gotten Maye.
I mean, you have Sam Darnold starting at QB, Purdy’s old backup. And if he fails, then what, JJ McCarthy? Highly doubt he’ll be anything that special, probs drafted too early. Jefferson is obv an S-tier WR, but the ball needs to make it to him, and with a questionable at best, dog water at worst, QB room, there is at least a little bit of nervousness going into it.
Sal you should host some fan bestball tournaments on underdog. I feel a lot of people could use another perspective on the rankings, especially since they’re much much sharper
I appreciate anyone grinding to make YT content, it’s not easy. But man most of these popular RU-vidrs give incredibly bad fantasy advice lol. JJ is sketchy but let’s reach for Drake London early second round 😂
Thanks Sal! Love the content! I surf all over RU-vid at different fantasy mock drafts. A lot of them do 12 team formats. Can you do a 10team ppr flex format???
Rookie hurts took me finals i lost Nexr year ekeler won me a title Last year lost in finals cuz of jeffersen 10 pts 12 man league full ppr For 6 years i was bouncing first round or not making playoffs Lol last 3 years been awesome
Sal, since you’re taking JT in the first round, I would like to know what you think about stacking him with his qb AR? Let’s just say, if Jalen Hurts wasn’t available anymore. 💁🏻♂️
Do not project. Protect. FF will humble you but especially if you reach based on what might be. Establish your floor players at the top and then later on take risks. Don’t take risks at the top.
Drafting at the 10 spot, if I get to the 1/2 turn and B. Hall, G. Wilson and Gibbs are available... I feel like drafting two Jets back to back wouldn't be optimal or am I wrong?
Love sal and all his vids and Twitter account but these are not accurate at all for season long. Like yea...he did this on underdog or whatever but it's not the same at all. Stevenson in the 8th? Lol Pacheco in the 4th? No chance
I got the #6 pick. I'm looking at Chase, JJ, Robinson, and Sun God. Who do I take??? Keep in Mind I've won my 12 man half ppr league back to back. And have always went w Jefferson 1st round.
JJ easy for me you're getting who should be the 1.01 for 1.06 and people are worried about the QB. He was the WR1 in the last 4 weeks of last season without Kirk. Darnold is like a Matt Stafford who doesn't win games. He can throw for 400 a game no problem and score points. JJ is QB proof like Davante Adams
@@cassiuscarter2832 2 of the last 4 games against Detroit where he blew up. The other games against Green Bay and Cincinnati were below average. JJ doesn't get Detroit every week and this year Detroit will be a lot tougher in the secondary.
I have a question, I use the fantasy football app for mobile. When the draft ends and it takes the draft away and makes you do a new one, does it keep the first draft because I feel like I had a great draft.
i did a lot of research going back the last 7 years on X receivers with rookie QBs and there was a notable ceiling on these guys. Stroud and nico are the only outliers but everyone else capped out at around 1000yd season. I personally want guys who have potential to be top 5 in their position if i draft you First round. I think jefferson will be a disappointing 1st round pick this year.
@@NMxCrazySkills he’s 30 with not a lot of tred on the tires… The ravens run out of the gun, Henry does not, even Harbaugh has been open about that concern He’s on a slide getting the least amount of yards per carry and yards after contact of his career last year And here’s the big one, they are replacing 3 linemen with a second round rookie, a second year guy and a 4 year guy who was a back up Gus Edward’s had 13 TDs for that team and still only finished RB 14
