Perfect timing on the mounts. I have to do the same thing to a craftsman saw this weekend . Need to make tool for it . Thank you . Peace and love from Wisconsin .
Hey tinman how’s it goin? Just a question buddy…… 625ii and 630 J’red I have one of each both have different intake manifolds….. my 630 intake block is cracked and warped I cannot find a replacement on ebay etc and my 625ii needs a carby but I cannot find the correct one of those either🤷♂️
Good video. My new 61 carcass is pre 1982 my tank has brass Bush the rubber mounts thread in to 4 out 6 spin in the plastic. Then the oil cap is smaller then all my other 61 husqvarna. I contact Berry chainsaw shop on Ebay and he had the oil cap. But anyway I was going to swap tank and Tinman put it on video. Thanks Tinman.
Love the way you make do, n mend/improve 👍 could you cut/grind a old socket to make two prongs. Help give more feel on the AV mounts. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for explanation..If the oil leaks from the oil pump and constantly leaks under on the AV rubber buffers...Does it destroy the rubber buffers ??
What good to stiffen up these bushings or to save them is automotive Goop really stiffens up those bushings makes them take the longer bars mahalo,ALOHA! 🤔🤙🏾😎
hey tinman, i have a 262 xp in my shop and the clutch is really hard to get off. i did a piston stop with rope. and she dont wanna cooperate even with a longer bar. expecting wd-40 or penetrant oil. do you have any tricks for these models ?
Very good how to tutorial. I enjoyed it a lot. I thought about you today while rolling around under my truck, checking to see how hard it will be to replace a busted brake line over the gas tank. I'm going to get a roll of NiCopp tubing and fittings tomorrow.
Hello tinman..i feel your pain with those triggers, fiddley no doubt...word to the wise stay clear of cheap mounts and cheap replacement tank handle for 61& 266 adds extra frustration to eventually end up in the rubbish...
I'm new here just subscribed. Watch all of Buckin' Billy Ray all the time .I have A SE266 the year 1984 and it needs mounts are the mounts hard to get? And I have A 272XP are the mounts interchangeable with those saws. Like you were saying my 272 will not buck up cuts got to be mounts on it to.
I changed out all the av mounts put it back together and there still a vibration on the back trigger hadle on my 630 more than what's on my 630 super can not figure it out
