For some reason it doesn’t work for me do you know how to fix it? I have an iPhone 8. When I hold down on the card nothing happens. It used to work but now it doesn’t
@@virulenceconviction5343 does ur phone have 3d touch? like if you are in the home screen and you hard press on an app like the weather app, does info from the app show up
I have friends that play CR unfortunetly i have no friends in BS and that's even more sad cos i played CR over 3 years and i will have to play at least 2 to be completly max and in BS i played just 1 year and I'm fully maxed and in local (with randoms) kinda ubelivable that game is from supercell too
Hey this was a really good guide! It's even worth watching over and over when I need to come back to it. Lot of people give strategy or tip guides on singular archetypes or cards, but it's refreshing to see a video on how YOU should play in general. Thanks for the shoutout btw. 😁
@@bogdanparva3276 in one of my ladder games, I was being destroyed, my king tower at 625 health, one of my princess towers destroyed, the other moderately damaged, while my opponent's towers were almost unscathed. And I had like 30 seconds to get a crown to make it into Sudden Death. My opponent thought it was over and was just going crazy with emotes. I already had a push going, so while they laughed their head off, I built my push up and crashed through their left tower just as the time ran out. the army I managed to build up then crashed through the remaining defenses and got me the 3 crown. O, he was pissed
What happened to his editing quality? It went from being decent to being ABSOLUTELY GODLY... i remember something about him changing his editing software, if that's it then oh god please never switch back!!! 10/10
I literally couldn't use emotes from the start cuz I accidentally muted and didn't knew how to unmute and that's why I quited CR when I look back in the days I am so disappointed in my gaming controls
Ive always questioned the matchmaking because to me it seems when I play certain decks my opponent always has certain cards and then I switch decks and magically start seeing drastically different cards, but its good to hear about the loser pool, I did not know about that before
Me: in a lose streak *plays anyway* Me: So close 1950 trophies ( Legendary chests) *Gets match up with players who has a legendary* Me: Whyyyyy *loses* *Continuesly play again* *Happens again* Me: TF *After lose streak* *1700 trophies* Here we go again
A really great video. A lot of these things can get forgotten & there’s still people only now coming into the game that need tips like this. If someone in my clan starts saying they’re losing a lot, I always put in chat to watch replays & take a break. ❤️ as always
Great vid, I'm a 3 year old player and still, I watched your video for newer players and I love how you care for the whole community. I'm so proud that I was one of your early subscribers and I've seen how much you've improved. Much love brother
Biggest mistake I see is leveling up “useless” cards. There’s a reasons pros don’t use Ebarbs, Wiz, Witch (except one OP season) etc. Build your ladder deck with quality cards to ensure you can use it at all trophy ranges
Same with me after a couple years. Got to 4,500 trophies and stopped playing again. I’ve lost 15 in a row and deleted the app. Hope to be back in 1-2 years and play again and make a new account lol
Totally agree with you! Losing trophies here & there is also a good way to learn how to play better. If we can learn from our the defeat, that's the best knowledge ever!
thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been playing for a year with no friends or clan and have experienced everything single thing you hit on. while nearly every creator examines strategy, technique, and meta, your advice addresses feels--which are A HUGE factor--and will not go unheeded. I immediately feel more confident now with a "gameplan" for my emotions AS WELL as my execution. I'm grateful bro! subbed, liked and shared!
I would say that using the same deck also helps you learn strategy. You become familiar with what type all of your cards are, what are their weaknesses, what they best destroy, etc. Then when you start switching out new cards you think, hm, is this new one going to provide the same strengths? Does it present different or new weaknesses in exchange? That’s how I’ve been playing for the most partB
Nice, a fellow Mortar specialist lol. I stopped playing for like a solid year, and Mortar is now the only deck I play (and can play) on ladder effectively lol. I mostly do 2v2 though, where I play with a wide variety of decks - though I'm still best with Mortar.
Me: Who wins 3 or 4 matches in a row.... Clash Royale:let's throw him the kind of matchup that makes him think his deck doesn't make any sense at all😐....
"Matchmaking isn't rigged" Win 5-6 games in a row, climbing well, the next 5 matches I lose because suddenly everyone in the game is playing Pekka, Hog, and Wizard.
Tony France yep. once they find what you lose to, they’ll keep finding people with the same cards that beat you in the previous game. not sure what legendaray was talking about when he said there are only two factors in matchmaking.
You are absolutely right with your tips! But you forgot to say 2 things: 1. The biggest mistake is to play any card at the bridge 2. You can't avoid the rigged matchmaking
My nr. 1 tip is to watch pro players before leveling up a card/deck. If you plan on upgrading the wizzard watch a couple of games before upgrading it. And if there is no pro using that card question your decision on upgrading it. The wizzard i mentioned earlier has been used only once in crl. You can be sure you will regret the decision of upgrading that card. Same goes for elitebarbarians, heal, barbarianhut, wizzard, mirror, rage,... Dont upgrade these cards they might be effective against bad players but you will remain stuck around 4.8k. I would upgrade pekka if i would start again. I am playing icebow at 6k and i guarantee its hard. You win a lot but you have to play godlike to have major success. Its a lot easier with pekka.
Really cool video, I would like to ask you something and I would like to hear your opinion on this one: how is it possible on ladder that I'm getting for example a pekka bridge spam deck 2 twice in 3 matches and one of them has a previous best around my pb which is 6300 trophies and I lose to this player and I win against the other opponent that has a pb of more than 7200? They play similarly and I'm doing the same plays against them but the way higher player loses against me while the similar level player beats me. I found it really strange and it happened to me a lot of times recently. I just wanted to share because you mentioned rigged matchmaking. Keep up the good work!
Best tip #1 : Say "Thanks" even when you lost. Best tip #2 : Try hard off-meta decks. Best tip #3 : Aim for perfection. Don't be scared to make mistakes, try out new strategies, new placement, etc...
Best tip #4 : If you want to try new interactions, consider playing it in a party mode or a friendly battle so you won't face the rick of losing trophies.
Regarding the first topic of choosing decks. I’ve developed a theory where essentially the online servers for clash royale are a pool for an infinite number of games of Rock Paper Scissors, with a twist of course. In most cases, whatever deck you choose will result in a good matchup and you winning (ex: rock beats scissors). Your next match you go rock again but face against a “paper” deck that 3 crowns you in about 2 and a half minutes. But you’re determined to choose rock in this 3rd game and oddly enough, you are paired against another “rock” deck. Whether it be similar deck or similar playstyle/skill level. The players skill level thrown into ladder matches is Rock Paper Scissors within itself. You either are better than someone, worse than someone, or equal to someone and managed to lose, or equal to someone but managed to win. Clash royale has got some depth and I think this oversized game of futuristic Chess will stay around for a long time to come Okay this is an edit. I’m now at 6:45 I’m new to clash RU-vid and I didn’t know people already thought this was a thing 😂 sorry if I sound ignorant Other edit: I subbed after 9:40 lol
When i play clash royale i really don’t switch decks that much because I’ve been playing Valkyrie log bait for about 2 years now and I’ve always sticked to it because i got better overtime and it’s one of my favorite decks to play on ladder. Also when I’m trying to level up my deck it does take some time because most of the cards I have in my deck might be Epic cards, Rare cards, or Legendary cards. Another thing that happens to me is tilting because that used to happen to me once in a while and it can be very frustrating if your F2P like me or your just one win away from going to a new Arena/League. After i lose 3 matches in a row i just take a break or do something else and when I’m ready i can win more trophies and this seems to always work for me. I also play very passively each match so that way i know what card or deck my opponent is playing. I do agree that you do face people that are almost the same trophies as you because that happens to me all the time when i play a match. One tip that I know sometimes happens to me is either knowing like what cards they have in rotation or how much elixir they spent on a push or playing defense. Sometimes i do play with my friends on friendly battles or 2v2. Great Vid legendaray keep up the good work and keep grinding on every single vid you do on RU-vid.
My biggest tip to winning is that you should always talk to yourself while your playing becuase it makes you feel like a youtuber and it keeps you calm. Lots of support👍👍👍
I just found your channel today through royal api....and immediately subscribed within watching 2 videos. The quality of your videos (editings) is just top notch. Thanks.
Your awesome, whenever I hear that someone thinks a card is op, I refer them to oj's videos, about how to use and counter the specific card that they find annoying.
7:24 The study explicitly says that it is only valid for top of the ladder and doesn't apply to around 4000 range. And also, the study is about whether matchmaking is rigged or not, not what factors the matchmaking is dependent on. So your claim about what exactly the matchmaking depends on does not base off of the study and hence I do not buy it. Also, also the study may claim whatever but it can't trump my personal experience and it says that the matchmaking is definitely rigged otherwise i wouldn't find players with king tower 2 or 3 lvls above my own or p2w players with lower king tower but card levels 2 -3 above my own 99.9% of the time, and it is independent of my losing streak. Easy to say that matchmaking isn't rigged at lvl 13 maxed account, try saying on an f2p lvl 10-11 account. Matchmaking is definitely rigged and its rigged against f2p players. Try again Legendaray.
clicks on video expecting huge improvements, proceeds on to going into a battle with a good mindset, dominates throughout the match, phone dies then the rage explodes Typical
Was playing on tilt yesterday before work. Was one win away from champion and then I lost 300 trophies. Of course the season ended the same day so I didn’t have time to get my trophies back. Was such a tragedy but now I know to just step back, as hard as it is for me to do
dude i need like a 1 on 1 coaching session about how to fundamentally play the game because i’m losing on even levels on PoL and need more strategy but no one wants to waste their time helping me.
Yeah, I admit to being tilted easily. Just a while ago I lost 26 games in a row, and I got so mad that I have stopped playing for 2 days. It's one of the worst ideas to keep playing when you're on a loss streak and getting upset about it.
Been playing one ladder deck for over 3.5 years, still works well 😎 Barbarians, Fireball, Fire Spirits, Ice Spirit, Inferno Tower, Miner, Princess, and Zap.
My tip is: have combos combos can help you with pushing like the skeleton bomb which is giant skely and skely army if you are at 2X elixer you should add baby dragon to the mix
I do #5 all the time hahah which I already am full aware of why I am not as high on ladder as I could be. I mainly use one deck on ladder but, I tend to always switch up decks mainly because its fun and It breaks the monotony of the game. I simply like to play with all the cards in made up crazy decks hahahah..I am satisfied either way and I am not trying to go pro or push past 7K in trophies so I tend to hoover around 5500-6200 hahahah. Great video bro!! All of your videos are soooooooo informative and they help me out big time !
I do think that the matchmaking is a little rigged. I play normal for a few matches and if I keep winning, I'm more likely to keep playing. After this I'll get hard countered once or twice. I get mad and try to get my trophies back, making me play more.
“Matchmaking is not rigged” that moment when i finally decide to run sparky or inferno drag, and every single opponent has e wiz for the next 7 matches
Hi, I wish this video had existed 2 years ago, when I started playing CR, certainly very useful, I hope your channel grows, definitely your content adds value to the community.
Legendaray, I’ve already made the first mistake and I’m extremely underleveled, I can barely get a full level 10/11 deck when I face lvl 12 ,13’s, any advice?
The game very much is rigged by design but probably in the way most people realize even though it's obvious. For example, simply playing against someone with higher card levels or towers is a rigged game in their favor. This would be like a two football teams playing but one team always has move the ball 20 yards more to score a touchdown then the other. In other words, the game is rigged to make it more likely for one team to win. Clash Royale is no different. It's designed to keep players on a rollercoaster of wins and loses. The trick is making the game just rewarding enough to keep people around and just frustrating and unfair enough to get them to spend money on the game in an attempt to even out the playing feild.
I have played my classic 3.1 mortar cycle for 2 years and it is still working SOMETIMES But i think it is really out meta now Do you have any suggestions? My valkyrie is under level so i cant use it
Crap!!!! A level 10 on 6000+???? Me a level 12 running lvl 12 splashyard deck, only 5500. I wreck lava clone with exenado and mega knight wrecks me. Upgrade some ither cards and level you up.
