I think with crossplay being a thing that only came out less then 10 years ago the console players were always at a disadvantage against pc players since a mnk player can make adjustments and what not idk i stopped playing cod after black ops 2 lol If you look at a game like rainbow six siege that has 0 aim assist on console the main cheats on console for that game are mnk users and xim/strike pack and scripts whatever its called and ubisoft straight up said those players are cheaters lol But back to the aim assist thing cod pretty much went overboard with it in my opinion but it was to have console players be able to compete with pc players and instead it just made pc players use controllers to gain that aim assist that they didnt get on mnk
