I have this carpet cleaning machine, it's great for auto detailing too. It's about 60pounds with no water, so its light for 1 person.

You’re forgetting steps of cleaning like vacuuming and agitation to avoid the unnecessary scrubbing motion that increase the fatigue of the operator.

The vacuum will give you an audio clue when the tank is full. Meaning, the sound of the vacuum motor will increase alerting you to dump the dirty water tank. Plus when the tank is full you won't be able to suck up any more water. This can also happen when you are not using a defoamer product in the recovery/dirty water tank. Hope this helps.
